Operational Guide

CALIBRATION
1. There are 2 types of Calibrators
Liquid Calibrator - gently mix, remove bubbles, and stand for 10 - 15 mins at RT prior
testing
Freeze-Dried Calibrator - reconstitute lyophilized calibrator according to insert
instructions. Stand for 10 - 15 minutes and make sure that the calibrator material free
from any bubbles prior testing.
2. In the [Edit] interface, select a rack (Rack A, B, or C) where the Calibrator Material has
been loaded and click [Test Edit]

3. Select [Cal], [Cal Level 2], [Cal Level 1], and Pick a Lot No.
Make sure to place the calibrator material on the vial adapter and run the Cal 2 (High), then Cal 1 (Low)
4. Press to run the requested test
5. View the Calibration result on the [Results] interface, and select [Calibration Result] to
view the result.
6. Execute the Calibration by going to [Reagents] Interface, select the reagent that was
calibrated, click [Start Cal], then click [Cal] and confirm the request.
*After only this step will the calibration factor be adjusted.

QUALITY CONTROL
1. There are 2 types of Quality Control Material
Liquid QC - gently mix, remove bubbles, and stand for 10 - 15 mins at RT prior testing
Freeze-Dried QC - reconstitute lyophilized calibrator according to insert instructions.
Stand for 10 - 15 minutes and make sure that the calibrator material free from any
bubbles prior testing.
2. In the [Edit] interface, select a rack (Rack A, B, or C) where the QC Material has been
loaded and click [Test Edit]
3. Select [QC], [QC Level 2], [QC Level 1], and Pick a Lot No by scanning the RFID sticker
and select the lot number. Make sure to place the calibrator material on the vial
adapter and run the QC1 (High), then QC2 (Low)
4. Press to run the requested test
5. View the QC result on the [Results] interface, and select [QC Result] to view the
result.
6. You may view the LJ Chart on the [QC] Interface.
SAMPLE RUNNING
1. There are 3 Types of Sample Running
a. Normal Mode - Manually enter sample ID
b. Barcode Mode - When the rack is inserted, the analyzer will automatically scan
the barcode sticker on the sample tubes
c. Online Mode - Acquiring sample request details from LIS
2. On the [Edit] Interface, click [Test Edit]
3. Select [Sample] for Patient Sample testing and choose a Sample Type
4. Choose a Tube type. Select [Tube] for Primary Tube and [Micro Cup] for samples
transferred to sample cups, and select a Sample Priority whether it is Normal
sampling priority [Normal], or STAT [ST]
5. Choose the tests to be analyzed for each respective patient sample
6. Press to run the requested tests
7. View the Sample result on the [Results] interface, and select [Sample Result] to view
the result.
