One mark is awarded f or every correct answer in the exam. T here is no negative marking f or
incorrect answers in the exam.

Nature & Standard of Questions in CT ET Paper 1

Questions in Paper 1 are based on topics prescribed in the NCERT syllabus f or Classes 1 to
5. However, the dif f iculty level of questions can be up to the secondary level.

Questions in Child Development and Pedagogy subject of Paper 1 f ocus on the

educational psychology of teaching and learning relevant to the age group of 6-11 years

Questions in Language I f ocus on the prof iciencies related to the medium of instruction
