Ladies and Gentlemen,

Good morning!

I have the distinct honor of introducing our keynote speaker for this momentous
occasion. She is a person whose endeavors and achievements have left an
indelible mark from her early education to her present career.

Our keynote speaker began her educational journey at Cadad-anan Elementary


School, where she graduated in 2007. Despite facing financial constraints, she was
determined to continue her education. She attended Cagubatan National High
School - Am-am Annex, now known as Am-am National High School, the nearest
high school to her hometown.

Every day, she braved the rigorous hike through the Tinangban path to reach
school. Her perseverance paid off as she consistently ranked as an honor student,
finishing high school as the salutatorian in 2011. Not only did she excel
academically, but she also shone in sports. In 2009, she was awarded "Athlete of
the Year" for her exceptional performance in the Track and Field event at the
CARAA Meet, showcasing discipline and dedication.

During her time at this school, she was one of my students. She exhibited
exemplary qualities that I hope all of you, dear students, will emulate. She was
attentive in class, diligent with her studies, respectful to her teachers, and actively
participated in all school activities. She is truly a model student whose behavior
and achievements should inspire our current graduates and students alike.

Motivated by a desire to uplift her life and secure a better future, she pursued
tertiary education at Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC). She
studied Bachelor of Science in Criminology, demonstrating patience,
determination, and resilience throughout her college years. She consistently
made the Dean's List and graduated in 2017 with a Leadership Award from her
department.

In December 2017, she passed the Board of Criminologists Licensure Examination.


Her journey of learning didn’t stop there; she earned an NC II certification in
Baking and Pastry in 2019 and attended the Drug Enforcement Officer Basic
Course (DEOBC) with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), where she
graduated as the class overall Top 2.

Committed to continuous improvement, she pursued a Master of Science in


Criminal Justice with a specialization in Criminology at the Philippine College of
Criminology, completing the course requirements in February 2024, and is set to
graduate in September 2024.

Currently, she serves as a Drug Enforcement Officer with the PDEA in the
Zamboanga Peninsula.

Our keynote speaker is the daughter of Mr. Honorio B. Calanggo of Aluling,


Cervantes Ilocos Sur, and Mrs. Teresita L. Pindew of Cadad-anan, Tadian,
Mountain Province. She is the second of six siblings and was born on October 1,
1995, in Aluling, Cervantes, Ilocos Sur.

speaker, an alumna of this school, Batch 2011, IO1 Dominica P. Calanggo, RCrim.

her present career.

She started and finished her Elementary education at Cadad-anan Elementary School in the year 2007.

Life is not an easy for her to pursue education due to financial constraint. She decided to continue her
secondary education at Cagubatan National High School - Am-am Annex (which is our beloved Am-am
National High School at present), the nearest high school to her hometown.

She endured daily hiking every morning and afternoon, patiently taking every step of the stairway like
path of Tinangban as a challenge for her to perform excellently in her studies.

Thus, during her four-year stay in this school, she is consistently an honor student placing either 1st or
2nd honor in the academic area until she finished high school as salutatorian in the year 2011.

She did not only excel in academic but she actively participated also in sports arena. In 2009, she was
awarded the school based "Athlete of the Year" for making it to the CARAA Meet in the Track and Field
event showing discipline, she exemplified not only to her classmates but to the whole studentry.
It is during this phase in her life, which she became one of my students when I was just entered this
school, and she really exhibited a good characters that each of you dear students should emulate to.

I can say that she is one of the model students that everyone here should also follow, our dear
graduates and completers as well as to you beloved students from G7, G8, G9, & G11 for she displayed
good manners and positive qualities that I and her mentors before were very proud of. She is attentive
in class, she reviews and studies her lessons, proof of always getting high scores in class standing, she
actively participate in class discussion or any lessons' activities, she makes her assignments and subject
requirements on time, she is respectful and obedient to her teachers. This is to mention a few.

Strongly motivated by hard life and the will to have a better future, a permanent job and to earn the
easy way, she believes that through education she could uplift herself and the hardship of life. She
pursued tertiary education at Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) which is the nearest
Tertiary School from her home.

She took up Bachelor of Science in Criminology where she armed herself with patience and
determination,

endures hardships and sacrifices, she turns challenges into opportunities

and she looks up on having a stable job and bright future.

These pushes her to go on amidst the setbacks that comes her way but she did not give up. She
consistently became a Dean's Lister and performing excellenty in her college days.

Until in the year 2017, she successfully graduated her BSCrim course where she belongs to the Class
Masilib (who is a recepient Leadership Award (internship) given by the Department Chairman.

She took the Board of Criminologists Licensure Examination and succesfully passed the examination in
December 2017.

Her adventure does not only end there, because she took every chances as an oppurtunity to learn more
and to enhance her skills.

She joined and qualified herself for NC II in Baking and Pastry in the year 2019 at KHAI Training Center at
Bauko, Mountain Province.

Furthermore, she attended the training on Drug Enforcement Officer Basic Course (DEOBC) sponsored
by the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on November 2019 to May 2020 at Silang, Cavite,
where she graduated as the class overall Top 2, Academic and Tactical Division, Deputy Director General
for Admininstration Plaque Awardee.

As they said learning is a continuous process armoured with the desire to learn more and develop
professionally, she continued graduate studies where she took up Master of Science in Criminal Justice
with Specialization in Criminolgy at the Philippine College of Criminology (PCCR), Santa Cruz, Manila.

She already finished the course requirements on February 2024, pending for Graduation this September
2024.

She was employed as Drug Enforcement Officer in the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the
Mindanao area from the year 2020- particularly in Zamboanga Peninsula at present.

Our keynote speaker is the daughter of Mr. Honorio B. Calanggo of Aluling, Cervantes Ilocos Sur and
Mrs. Teresita L. Pindew of Cadad-anan, Tadian, Mountain Province, the 2nd child of the 6 siblings.

She was born on October 1, 1995 at Aluling, Cervantes, Ilocos Sur.
