a) A can do a piece of work in 25 days, B can do it in 20 days . They work
together for 5 days and then A goes away. In how many days will B finish
the remaining work? [3]
b) Roy invested ₹20,000 for 2 years at the rate of 10% p.a C.I.
Due to change in the market condition, the interest rate was raised
to 12% p.a after one year. Find the amount he receives at the end of
2 years. [3]
c) Construct a rhombus ABCD whose diagonal AC= 7 cm and diagonal
BD = 5 cm. Find the length of side AB. [4]

a) Manish sold a bicycle at a profit of 10%. Had it been sold for ₹750 more,
the profit would have been 16%. Find the cost price of the bicycle. [3]
b) The sum of interior angles of a polygon is 2700°. How many sides does
this polygon have? [3]
c) Calculate the area of figure EFGH. Given AE = AH = DG = 5 cm,
HD = GC = 7cm , FB = 3 cm and BC = 12 cm. [4]
