EASTSIDE KRONIKALS:

New York has been visited been visited by both krabs and OLA’S SINCE THE 70’s and
in the mid 80’s a few even attempted to build up sets in Buffalo and New York Bity
but no one had the right amount of influence or charisma to captivate New York
Brothers minds and spark off the glowing of a nation in N.Y.B. until O.G MacK on
July Bixteen, 1993 on Rikers Island began to spread the teachings of OLA’s as he
knew it. The whole thought of gang bangin seemed odd and somewhat childish to most
of the people who only heard of Blood’s (OLA’s) through the U.S . media but after
hearing 31 sekonds of the CEO’s breakdown what the “B” is about and the unity it
represented, a handful of strong brothers began to see how through Blood and
everything it represented, anything was possible so they embraced OLA.

Family Ties Volume # 1

All Damu sets from east to west began differently and have experienced different
hardships and triumphs, but we are all united as komrades under the red flag of
ola. We are at the point where the “B” flies in almost every state and major kity
and have even spread to other kountries like Jamaica, Canada, etc….even though all
sets have their different birthdays and history, we are all the off springs of a
movement that began in Southern Kalifornia in 19-bixty-9. Our roots extend back to

Swans, Bishops, and the Black P. Stone Nation, who and in about 19-bixty-9 began to
identify with each other because of their common enemy. It is taught and passed
down that we adopted the name blood because at the time it was a popular greeting
brought to LA by the brothers coming back from the Vietnam war and also the Black
P. Stone Nation whikh was brought to LA by Terrance Rodgers who came from Chicago
with an open letter/charter from the main 21, also brought his greetings because it
symbolized their morals, spiritual and ideological kinship. As time went on we
began to develop slang and symbols that were identified as belonging to us and our
customs and traditions became a lifestyle (Bloodin'or Blood Life). A lot of our
ways came from the T.Rodgers and the Black P. Stone Nation who were well organized
in Chicago by Jeff Fort (The Bull of main 21 the chief of the of the Black P. Stone
Nation) This is where we get our kolors from, our stance, the way we flag, and most
of all our five-point star. Kommunity control was emphasized by all sets but do to
the youthfulness of most homies, their lack of knowledge in the business,
economics, and komminty control and the fact that they were at constant war with
the krabs and the pigs. Many hoods were neglected or controlled in a negative way
by them sets. As the 80’s crack epedimik hit the U.S. many of the O.G.’s and the
other homies saw this as the only way they could take kare of their sets properly.
So they began to travel state to state and kity to kity on the paper chase. As our
“Ballers” set up shop and turned out the whole hoods to the B-Life; the krabs “High
Rollers” turned out hoods to their life and the war on the streets of Southern
Kalifornia began to spread all over until it reached the point where now you will
be hard pressed to find a place that has not felt the influence of us “people” or
them “folks” So our family ties go far and our roots run deep. Hoods have popped up
in the cities and towns due to homies traveling to see kin, traveling on the paper
chase and like O.G. Mack going to the west or any Blood hood and being turned out

will sit on the council. No exceptions. As for the subs, the structure will be
as so: when a main label opens up a sub district, the council rep should let
this be known immediately. The person that has been

as a Low GF. Their rank & authority will be the same as any high stain under the
main label, for their rank & authority will serve the same purpose as any high
