II) Reduce the relative clauses in the following passages
1. I used to have a very good friend who lived near my house when I was young. His house had a big
tree which stood in the middle of his garden. We often picked up fruits that fell off from that trees. He
had a book which contained a lot of stamps which were collected from his grandfather’s mails. I also
gave him some of my stamps which were found in the boxes which were left in the post office which
was located near our main entrance to the village. We often climbed to the top of the tree in his garden
and listened to the birds which sang many beautiful melodies.

2. Finding a career which is perfectly suitable for a graduate student is not an easy task. When you
search for jobs which are available only, you have to carefully check the qualifications which are
required for that position. Then you need to improve the skills which are appropriate for that job.
Overall, you should do this while you are still the first-year student. There are a lot of good
opportunities which are offered to university students every year. You can access to the job information
which is posted regularly on some websites which offer a wide variety of jobs in all the fields.

3. Last week, we host a talk show that followed a performance of G-Dragon. To successfully organize
this outdoor event, we had to obtain all the permits which were required by the city council. The show
