Orlando, Florida, US

Associate of Arts - Biomedical

Sciences
Program Description

The Associate of Arts in Biomedical Science program is designed to aid in

the transition to a Florida public university as a junior to complete a four-
year Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science.

At Valencia College, transfer plans and pre-majors are implemented in

conjunction with articulation agreements with specific universities. The
purpose of a transfer plan or pre-major is to not only fulfill the
requirements of a general Associate of Arts degree at Valencia College,
but also to gain the fundamental knowledge and pre-requisites necessary
for success in a public or private university (which count as elective
credits for the Associate of Arts degree). The articulation agreement
highlights that any student who graduates with an Associate of Arts
Degree will be accepted to one of the twelve state universities as long as
all grade requirements, pre-requisites and program-specific requirements
