How to setup the

IDES ERP 2005 ECC 6.0 - SCM 5.1 - liveCache Integration

Please follow these steps to setup the Integration of these components and to
activate the Integration Models correctly.

It is required that you have set up the connectivity between the ECC and the
SCM system according to the document attached to note 1243319. And that
the SCM server and the liveCache is connected as described in the standard
liveCache installation guide. But do not initialize the liveCache. You should
'only' be able to start and stop the liveCache using SCM transaktion 'lc10'.

- Logon to the SCM System

Use for example the existing user IDADMIN / ides in Client 800. Or a user
you have created with administration rights.

- Create job LIVECACHE

Use transaction code SM36 to define it and give it priority 'A' (high).

Define two steps:


Step1: Program: ZQBU_LC_INIT
Step2: Program: Z_WAIT_DELETE_LC_ANCHORS

Result of the Job-Creation:

Execution of the job:

Start the job and wait until the job has finished (approx. 15 min.)
Transaction in the SCM System:

Start transaction /n/SAPAPO/OM17 (liveCache Consistency Check) and


choose "Consistency Check liveCache – APO DB".

A selection screen will appear (see next page).

Mark all selection fields and choose (F8)


If there any inconsistencies choose , and in the

dialog box choose , mark all objects and choose .

In the Correct Inconsistencies dialog box choose No. Wait until the correction
run is done and go back to the Easy Access menu.
Logon to the ERP System

Use for example the existing user IDADMIN / ides in Client 800.

Create job CIFMODELL

Use transaction code SM36 to define it and give it priority 'A' (high).

Define six steps:


Step 1: Program: ZSMQ1_CLEAR
Step 2: Program: RIMODAC2 Variant: DEACTIVATE_ALL
Step 3: Program: RIMODAC2 Variant: D_I_MDI_ACT
Step 4: Program: RIMODAC2 Variant: D_I_MDII_ACT
Step 5: Program: RIMODAC2 Variant: D_I_TD_ACT
Step 6: Program: RIMODAC2 Variant: D_I_ATP_ACT

Execution of this job

Start the job and wait until the job has finished (approx. 15 min.)

Logon again to the SCM System - User: .........

Call transaction /n/SAPAPO/RRP3 (Product View). -


(If a dialog box appear, choose ).

Enter the following data:


Plng Version: 000
Product: P-102
Location: 1000

Choose .

In the first row you should now see the stock coming form the ERP system.
If 'yes', the integration between ECC, SCM and the liveCache is working.
If 'no', check the RFC Connections between the components and try again. If
this doesn't help, allow remote access to the systems and open a customer
message, component XX-IDES.
