iv) List the common artefacts occurring in EEG machine

i) A respiratory therapist reports that a mechanical ventilator does not
turn on when the power switch is toggled. Outline the components of the
mechanical ventilator. What checkout procedure would you use and
which system components would be suspected first.
ii) A nurse reports that an artificial respiratory ventilator appears to be
delivering insufficient gas flow to the patient with proper flow, pressure
and gas mixture front panel settings. What checkout procedure would you
use and which system components would be suspected first? Also
mention the commonly occurring faults in ventilator.
