Sizing SAP HANA with DRAM and persistent memory follows the same rules as sizing for SAP HANA with a
pure-DRAM configuration.
Persistent memory is only available with Tailored Data Center Integration (TDI). A statement regarding
certified servers has been added to the SAP HANA hardware directory.

Sizing Tools
SAP HANA with persistent memory follows the same sizing rules as SAP HANA with only DRAM. The same
sizing tools should be used to ensure that the hardware has sufficient capacity.
Customers that want to use different ratios than recommended by the sizing tools are expected to carefully
evaluate the sizing requirements of their application, for example, via an expert sizing.

SAP HANA databases. These statements do not replace the official SAP sizing tools, but are meant to
provide additional information.
