1. Find the product of the least number divisible by 18, 24 and 36 and the greatest number which
divides 18, 24 and 36.
2. The area of a rectangle gets reduced by 9 sq. units, if its length is reduced by 5 units and the
breadth is increased by 3 units. If we increase the length by 3 units and breadth by 2 units, the
area is increased by 67 square units. Find the length and breadth of the rectangle.
3. A shopkeeper sells a saree at 8% profit and a sweater at 10% discount, there by getting a sum of
₹ 1008. If she had sold the saree at 10% profit and the sweater at 8% discount, she would have
got ₹ 1028. Find the cost price of saree and the marked price of the sweater.

9. A two-digit number is such that the sum of its digits is 11. The number obtained by reversing the
order of digits is 7 more than the twice of original number. Find the number.
10. A fraction becomes 1/3 if the denominator is increased by 1 and it will become 1/2 when both
the numerator and denominator are increased by 1. Find the fraction.
