Teenage pregnancy is a global problem in the modern world that affects high, middle and
low-income countries. However, globally, teenage pregnancy is more common among people
with low social status such as the unemployed, the poor, and drug addicts drug addicted. This
problem is important because it has negative health consequences not only for parents but also
for their teens. Teenage pregnancy is often accompanied by poverty and , lack of education and

young age do less later in life in many ways, and this affects their employment opportunities.
Two-thirds of teen mothers who move out of their family home live in poverty, and a similar

a lower grade than their classmates. Therefore, their school achievements are lower than
expected.
In conclusion, as we can see, teen pregnancy has major consequences, such as poverty,
lack of education and less employment opportunities. To decrease the consequences of teen
pregnancy, we should address the underlying social problems that lead woman to become teen
