To connect the PiUS with the PT4G, please follow these steps:
The Cloud Printing module enables printing via the diagnostic tester. For this purpose, a
printer must be configured on the workshop PC where PiUS is installed. Printouts can then be
made on the available workshop printers. To use this function, you need to connect your
tester with the PiUS Cloud Printing function on the workshop PC – see point 4. "Connecting
PT4G to PiUS 3.0" for this.
Please follow these steps:
1. Start your Tester
2. From the Tester Start page, go to: -> System settings -> Workshopserver
3. Activate "Porsche Cloud Printing" there by ticking the toggle-button.
• Enter the IP address shown in PiUS Cloud Printing.
• Save your entries
4 Print a test page:
• Select an image and click on print.
• A settings window will open. Choose Cloud Printing as the default printer.
(As a result, you will automatically be connected to the workshop printer
linked to the workshop PC.)
• Optionally adjust the printer settings.
• View your print jobs.
It is mandatory that all printer drivers are up to date and all Windows updates have
been performed on the workshop PCs.
