The display automatically returns to the main menu after five seconds in
riding mode. Hold the button long and press it again to turn off the meter along with its controller. Press any other button to
turn off cruise mode. The meter flashes red if its operating temperature is too high. During boot-up, the environment temperature for using the meter is displayed on the screen. The meter will flash red if its operating temperature exceeds the warning value. If there's no button operation on the meter for more than a minute, it will automatically
return to display mode 1 and retain the original settings. The KT—LCD3 Electric Bicycle Meter User Manual indicates that after setting metric or imperial units, pressing the button briefly (SW) saves the current values, and the speed and mileage units stop flashing. Under the P1 parameter setting interface, if no button operation is performed for
more than a minute, it will automatically return to display mode 1 and retain the original settings. Similarly, after finishing P2 or P3 parameter settings, pressing the button briefly (SW) saves the current values and enters the next setting interface. Please note that when the P2 parameter is set to zero, there may be inaccuracies in speed readings for
built-in clutch motors if the internal motor rotors stop or the internal rotor speed is lower than the outer rotor speed. The P4 parameter sets handlebar startup mode. When set to one, the handlebar requires foot power assist for startup. When set to zero, the motor can be started directly by the handlebar. The C1 setting selects power-assist sensor
and parameter settings, with a range of 0-7. After finishing C1 and C2 parameter settings, pressing the button briefly (SW) saves the current values and enters the next setting interface. The C3 Power Assist Ratio Gear Initialization Setting initializes the gear ratio. The factory default is 8. Finally, the C4 parameter sets handlebar function, with a
range of 0-4, which can be selected by holding the button (UP) or (DOWN). C4, then press and hold button (SW) to save current values. This will take you to the C5 setting interface. At this stage, select maximum current adjustment value. The display will show the limit value; for example, if it is set at 9, the limit value will be divided by 1.10. Our
company sets parameters for all KT-LCD3 meters produced according to specific requirements. The meters are then configured as data sources using the "C11 meter attribute selection setting" method. To begin, connect a special wiring cable and turn on the meter's power supply, which can be either 48V, 36V, or 24V (VB + positive power supply).
Next, long-press the button to restart the meter, automatically restoring its factory settings. The KT_LCD3_V3.0 version was released on April 12, 2015.
