The airport is at the centre of the UKs motorway network with access to all major cities. It is also adjacent to Birmingham International Rail Station, which links directly to the national rail network with a frequent service to the city centre taking ten minutes. By rail or metro New Street Station, ten minutes walk from Eastside, offers connections across the United Kingdom. The station is to undergo a 600 million transformation that will deliver a world-class transport hub and create a bright, 21st century focal point for Birmingham. Moor Street Station, renovated as part of the Bullring development, is heart of the quarter. The station provides connections to the south east of Birmingham and on to London Marylebone. Snow Hill Station, connected to Moor Street Station and therefore part of the Birmingham-London Marylebone line, also provides connections on to Kidderminster and Worcester. In addition, the station is the terminus for the Midland Metro light rail system, providing links to West Bromwich and Wolverhampton.

Learning Quarter
The college has created a high quality further and higher education campus in central and north Birmingham, that will deliver outstanding learning opportunities for young people, adults and employers.
The new developments create the first phase of the regeneration in this area by linking Aston University, Aston Science Park, BCU, Matthew Boulton College, educational facilities based at Millennium Point and South Birmingham College in Digbeth, to form part of the new city quarter.
Eastside City Park will be the first major city centre park in Birmingham for more than 125 years. It will become a focal point for the area, becoming a major visitor attraction in its own right as the new, accessible heart of Eastside.
