CUSTOM RPC GUIDE

INSTALL VENCORD (IF YOU ALREADY HAVE VENCORD


SKIP TO STEP 2)

The install is simple, on the website linked above you just click the pink
“Download Vencord” button, then on the next page that opens click the
pink “Download VencordInstaller.exe” button, run the exe and you’ll see a
pop up like this:

Simply click “install” button on the far left, after that reload discord.

INSTALLING CUSTOMRPC
When you restart discord, go in your settings and see if there is a
“vencord” tab in your settings, if there isn't then you installed vencord
wrong. Try again.
If the vencord tab is these go to “plugins” and search for “customrpc” like
this image:

You’ll want to make sure its enabled.

SETTING UP CUSTOMRPC
There is a guide in the plug in but i found it to be quite difficult to
understand some things so i’ll be putting a mini guide in here for it:

This part of their guide is fine and you will need it, however they didn’t
mention which line is what in your activity in their guide.

I’ll use mine as an example.

The section that says “App name” will be the top line of your activity, in
my case it is “The Killing School Life”

For “Details”:
Line 1 will be the bigger detail next to your image, in my case its
“Contestant: Ultimate Extrovert”
Line 2 will be a smaller text under the main detail, in my case its
“Danganronpa”

Activity Type:
This will show what kind of activity it’ll show before your app name, all
activity types except “Competing” will show a timer under your activity
showing how long your discord has been open for.

Last section i’ll go into is about the images:


You can have 2 images in your customrpc, a big one which’ll take up
majority of the space and a small one which’ll come up at the bottom
right of your big one

in my case the white logo is the big image and the bear icon at the
bottom right is the small image.
Png files are recommended for this

you will also need to upload your images to (https://imgur.com/) or


something similar for it to work.

That’s all! there’s more you can do with this plugin but thats the main stuff
