Kishore:

Good morning, Sir/Madam,

Today, we are here to showcase our prototype model of ATMOSGUARD. We have

given it this unique name because clean air is essential for health, reducing
respiratory diseases, heart problems, and environmental damage. Polluted air causes
asthma, lung cancer, and climate change, impacting human well-being, biodiversity,
and overall quality of life. So, we have created a prototype device that helps to
overcome these hazardous problems related to air quality in the human body as
well as biodiversity.

Tarun:
For creating this prototype, we have used multiple sensors to collect data from the
surroundings, and an Arduino board interprets the values and displays them on the
touch screen.

First, we have used a temperature and humidity sensor to collect data on

temperature and humidity from the surrounding environment, which is then
displayed on the screen. If the humidity is below 30%, the Arduino sends a
command to the relay to turn on the humidifier module, increasing the humidity to
a normal level. This can be useful for various purposes, such as mole prevention and
ensuring a more comfortable living environment in our homes.

In addition, we have used a gas sensor to detect carbon dioxide and air quality from
the atmosphere, displaying its value on the screen and alerting us whether it is
healthy or unhealthy to breathe. It also notifies us when the CO2 level exceeds the
optimal level.

Srivatsan:

Thirdly, we have used a dust sensor to analyse the dust level in the surroundings
and display it. If the dust level exceeds the optimal threshold, the Arduino board
commands the relay to turn on the fan, which helps to absorb the dust from the
external surroundings.

Additionally, we have used a barometer to show the indoor barometric pressure,

which can influence conditions like asthma and allergies.

We have also planned to connect this device to a smartphone, which will alert users
about air quality. This will be especially helpful for people with breathing difficulties
and respiratory-related problems, as it will allow them to improve their
environment.

In conclusion, ATMOSGUARD is a smart air quality management system that

monitors temperature, humidity, CO2 levels, dust, and barometric pressure. It
automatically adjusts environmental conditions through sensors and relays to
improve air quality, prevent health risks like asthma, and enhance comfort. Future
integration with smartphones will offer remote monitoring, ensuring optimal indoor
air quality for a healthier, more comfortable living environment.
