Atmosguard Vit Project
Tarun:
For creating this prototype, we have used multiple sensors to collect data from the
surroundings, and an Arduino board interprets the values and displays them on the
touch screen.
In addition, we have used a gas sensor to detect carbon dioxide and air quality from
the atmosphere, displaying its value on the screen and alerting us whether it is
healthy or unhealthy to breathe. It also notifies us when the CO2 level exceeds the
optimal level.
Srivatsan:
Thirdly, we have used a dust sensor to analyse the dust level in the surroundings
and display it. If the dust level exceeds the optimal threshold, the Arduino board
commands the relay to turn on the fan, which helps to absorb the dust from the
external surroundings.
We have also planned to connect this device to a smartphone, which will alert users
about air quality. This will be especially helpful for people with breathing difficulties
and respiratory-related problems, as it will allow them to improve their
environment.
