Machine Code: M0116: Air Filter Not Connected


Information
Description:
A Code M0116 occurs when the Gateway Controller detects an open circuit for 30 seconds on the
S650***EA Air Filter switch, signal wire 3150, at key switch / (run/enter) On. The Air Filter switch is a normally
closed switch that is mounted to the back of the air filter. The switch opens when the vacuum
S/N: A3NW11665 created by the airflow through the air filter, reaches a critical level.
Note: A Code M0116 may occur while the engine is running if the condition was present before the

Air Filter.
Schematics Signal wire 3150 or ground wire 2150 open.
Air Filter switch.
Maintenance Gateway Controller.
