STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

Solar-powered mist irrigation forin oyster mushroom cultivation centershighlights on the neednecessity

for efficient, automated watering systems that optimize environmental conditions for mushroom

growth while reducingminimizing labor costs. Traditional methods often relydepend on manual

watering, which can be inconsistent and labor-intensive. The integrationBy integrating of solar energy

into mist irrigation systems presentssystems, we can create a sustainable solution to enhancethat

boosts productivity and efficiency in mushroom farming. A study reported an 80% reduction infound

that these systems can cut spraying time, allowing fortime by 80%, leading to more efficient watering

processes[1]. Automatedprocesses [1]. Additionally, automated systems can maintainoptimize optimal

humidity levels, crucialwhich are essential for mushroom growth, by activating pumps based

onaccording to real-time data from sensors[2].sensors [2].

Using solar energy minimizes reliancereduces dependence on electricityfuels, promoting sustainabil

and supports sustainable agricultural practices. Systems designedtailored for mushroom greenhouses

can improveenhance irrigation efficiency while beingremaining environmentally friendly[4][5].

Thefriendly [4][5]. Thus, this study focuses on the design and fabrication of a solar-powered irrigation

system tailored specifically for oyster mushroom cultivation. By implementing this innovative
technology, farmers can increase yield, improve product quality, and adopt a more sustainable

approach to mushroom farming, addressing production challenges while preserving the environment.
