ON THE ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF PTA
SY 2021-2022

The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) fosters partnerships between the school and the home, and
helps to build this sense of community.
On the 2nd day of December 2021, 8:00 0’clock, Sto. Nino Elementary School held a meeting with
the participation of teachers, PTA Officials and other stakeholders. A short prayer was led by Mrs. Claudette
Joy Balao, Mrs. Josephine Dimafilis, Teacher’s Association President, Master Teacher I delivered the
purpose of the assembly. The highlight of the gathering was a part brought by the PTA Adviser, Mrs.
Darylle B. Tatad, Teacher I. On this part, she discussed the following:
 Goal and objectives of the organization
 Plans of the organization for the school year 2021-2022
 Actions to be taken on the term of the officials
 Key elements of the organization
 Matrix of the organization
 Structure of the PTA Organization
 Roles and responsibilities of the officials
After the discussion, some clarifications to the given roles and responsibilities were cleared. Officials
contributed their short messages about the roles and responsibilities; they accepted as a proof that they will
take serious actions of their tasks as school leaders.
The short session ended at 11:00 o’clock in the morning with the acceptance of the challenge of the
PTA President Richard Panahon.
