Sons of Jubal Concert

First Bapt. Church Statesboro
MEN you have an opportunity on March 23-24 to participate in what could and should be the most influential event in the Spiritual life of our church in years. This activity is the MIGHTY MEN OF GOD conference to be held in our Sanctuary. The conference will begin on Friday evening and conclude around noon on Saturday. I am encouraging all men of all ages to attend this conference. As the men of the church draw closer to God so will the church as a whole and the community. This event is open to any male twelve years of age and older. Dads need to come with sons and grandsons. Sr. Adults need to attend as well as men without children. I am excited about the conference but even more so about the impact this conference can have on our church. The Conference is open to everyone in the community and you may register through the church office or go online to the Mighty Men of God website. Paul Last Thursday night was the Commissioning service for the Sons of Jubal Asia trip. It was held in the new sanctuary of FBC Statesboro and featured the largest number of Jubals in concert at any time. Over 220 of us shared in this moving time of worship and prayer for this unique opportunity. The 14 day activity will feature multiple concerts in Beijing, China and Pyongyang, North Korea. Thanks for remembering those who sing and play. Art

FELLOWSHIP CLUB MARCH MEETING The March meeting of the Fellowship Club was quite a success as Patsy Henry, published author of childrens books, shared her photos and stories with us. You can really see how school children and folks of all ages enjoy her work. Having a live rabbit on hand was the icing on the cake. We also found 5 of our shut-ins home and took each of them a meal. Remember those who are unable to meet with us to worship and fellowship. MALI MEDICAL MISSION REPORT 6:30 PM Sunday, March 11

WHATS UP I am so excited to see God at work inside of our student ministries at FBC. Our Youth worship night is on its way of becoming a full house. God is using the youth of this church to reach out into the community and they have begun to bring new students in our doors. We also started the Tuesday night Bible Study Radical Together this past week and there are now 55 students participating in the study. Continue to pray for Gods guidance for the youth and for the events to be centered around Him. Our college ministry if finally up and going. We have been meeting on Wednesday nights from 9:0010:30ish. We started with eight and this past Wednesday we had twelve. We are adopting a people group each month and planning a service project for them. The month of March is focused on Widows. We are asking that you let us know the names of our Widows and some needs that they may have. We will be splitting up and trying to help them with whatever their needs may be on March 24th. Continue to pray for the college ministry and for its direction. WHATS NEW There are a few things coming up that we need to draw to your attention. First, the youth will be having a cookout at my house on March 15th. This is a way of letting the students get to know Regina and the kids a little better. We are wanting to extend the
