Treebo Club Rewards Loyalty Program - Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 17 Oct, 2024

1. Introduction

Welcome to “Treebo Club Rewards”, the Treebo Club platforms’ Loyalty Program! These Terms
and Conditions ("Terms" or the “Program Terms”) govern your participation in the Treebo Club
Rewards Loyalty Program ("Program"), including your eligibility for, and benefits associated with,
the Green, Silver, Gold, and Platinum membership levels. By enrolling in the Program, you agree
to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.

2. Eligibility

2.1. The Program is open to individuals aged 18 or older and who are guests of Treebo Club and
have a valid email address.

2.2. Treebo Hospitality Ventures reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program at any
time, with or without notice, and for any reason, including, but not limited to, changes in its
business policies or regulatory requirements.

2.3. By default, all members are auto-enrolled to the Treebo Club Rewards Green membership
membership level upon logging-in to treebo.com or the Treebo App using their mobile number,
and making a booking. However, as you keep booking more stays, you become eligible for auto-
enrolling to Silver, Gold & Platinum membership levels/tiers. This unlocks additional benefits
which keep increasing as you move up the membership levels. Some members will be auto-
enrolled into the Silver, Gold or Platinum membership levels directly at the start of the Treebo
Club Rewards Program, depending on their previous stay history & booking frequency with
Treebo.

2.4. Based on the frequency of bookings made by a customer, the customer will be allotted a
loyalty membership level status and may be eligible for Instant rewards, Tier Rewards, Free Night
rewards, Free Room Upgrades, Free Early Check-Ins and Free Late Check-Outs. All Treebo Club
Points may be redeemable against room purchases, room upgrades and from time to time at
partner organisations subject to usage limits which may vary from time to time.

2.5. The loyalty program is only available to individual customers and is not applicable for travel
agents, corporate bookings and mass bookings.

3. Loyalty membership levels

The Program consists of four membership levels: Green, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Your
membership level is determined by your cumulative eligible nights staying at hotels booked via
tha Treebo Club platforms (treebo.com or the Treebo App) within your membership year.
3.1. Membership Enrollment:

3.1.1. All customers shall be eligible to be grouped in one of the above four membership levels
based on their frequency of booking as follows:

3.1.2.
Asaone-timeeffort,whentheTreeboClubRewardsprogramislaunched,
Silver/Gold/Platinum members will be sent a communication about their enrollment into the
program and their membership level based on their eligibility as per the above mentioned
criteria. (All other members are auto-enrolled into Green membership level on the first login)

3.1.3. Before members are sent enrollment communication via WhatsApp & email, welcome
rewards in the form of Treebo Club Points, if any (depending on the membership level), shall be
credited to their account.

3.2. Membership Level-Upgrade & Welcome Benefits:

3.2.1. Membership level upgrades are determined based on the last 12 months’ stay history,
and are done at regular intervals of 1 month (subject to change). Members may upgrade from
Green to Silver/Gold/Platinum, Silver to Gold/Platinum, and Gold to Platinum as per the same
eligibility criteria.

3.2.2. Members must log in using their enrolled phone number to access welcome benefits and
ensure that additional bookings are carried forward to the same account.

3.2.3. Welcome benefits, if any, expire within 6 months of enrollment.

3.3. Membership level-Retention & Membership Level-Downgrade

3.3.1. Silver/Gold/Platinum membership level members must meet specific requirements as


mentioned below during their membership period of 12 months to retain their membership
level for the next year -

3.3.2. Failure to meet requirements during the membership period of 12 months for a member
results in a one-level membership downgrade for the following 12-month period.

3.4. Earning Points for a Booking

3.4.1. Members must log in to treebo.com or the Treebo App with their enrolled phone number
to earn points on future bookings (Eligible members would be sent a communication on their
enrolled phone number, upon enrollment into Silver/Gold/Platinum membership level. If the
member has not received any such communication, then the member would fall under the
Green tier only).

3.4.2. Green members earn 1% of the booking amount (including tax) as Treebo Club points
(Instant Rewards), credited within 24 hours post-checkout.

3.4.3. Silver members earn a total 4% of the booking amount (including tax) as Treebo Club
points: Instant Rewards (1% credited within 24 hours of checkout) and Tier Rewards (remaining
3% credited within 2 weeks of checkout).

3.4.4. Gold members earn a total 4.5% of the booking amount (including tax) as Treebo Club
points: Instant Rewards (1% credited within 24 hours of checkout) and Tier Rewards (remaining
3.5% credited within 2 weeks of checkout).

3.4.5. Platinum members earn a total 5% of the booking amount (including tax) as Treebo Club
points: Instant Rewards (1% credited within 24 hours of checkout) and Tier Rewards (remaining
4% credited within 2 weeks of checkout).

3.4.6. Silver, Gold & Platinum members may also earn Free Night rewards upon completing
certain milestones.
3.4.6.1. The free nights will also be credited in the form of Treebo Club points.
3.4.6.2. Free night credits will be made retrospectively as a refund upon completion of
the corresponding night (that was supposed to be free).
3.4.6.3. Silver tier members are eligible to get their 8th night free as a part of this
benefit. However, silver members can avail this benefit only once in their silver
membership year.
3.4.6.4. Gold tier members are eligible to get their 7th night free as a part of this benefit.
However, Gold members can avail this benefit only once in their Gold membership year.
3.4.6.5. Platinum members are eligible to get every 15th night free as a part of this
benefit. There is no upper limit to the number of free nights they can avail in one
Platinum membership year right now, but this is subject to change anytime without
intimation to the existing members of this tier.
3.4.6.6. The calculation of the number of nights stayed by a guest (to check eligibility of
free night reward in his/her particular tier) starts only post he/she is enrolled as a part of
that tier.
3.4.6.7. There is no carry forward of this benefit to the next tier - If the user gets
upgraded/downgraded to another tier without completing the given requirements of that
tier before getting upgraded, then the free night reward does not apply for the previous
tier and the user’s total nights in the new tier (used for calculating the free night
eligibility) will start from zero in the new tier.
3.4.6.8. The free night credit amount (Treebo Club points to be credited as free night) is to
be calculated as an average room rent of the total nights made by the guest via bookings
made through the Treebo club website, msite or app which are resulting in his eligibility
for the free night. So, if a Silver guest, post his silver tier enrollment, stays for a total of 2
different bookings on the Treebo Club platforms (logging-in with his enrolled phone
number) - first booking with 3 nights (average room rent - ₹2200), and second booking
with 5 nights (average room rent - ₹1800), then upon the checkout of the second booking,
the guest becomes eligible for his free night as he completed 8 nights during the second
stay. Within 30 days of the second booking’s checkout, the guest’s account would be
credited with 1950 Treebo Club Points ((2200*3+1800*5)/8).
3.4.6.9. Stays made through bookings via calling our Helpdesk concierge will not be
eligible for computing the Free Nights. Stays completed only through direct booking will
be taken into account to calculate the Free Nights.
3.4.7. All Treebo Points earned through bookings (Base Rewards, Membership Rewards & Free
Nights) are valid for 12 months from the date of earning. Post 12 months of credit, the points will
auto-expire.
3.5. Redemption of Points
3.5.1. Points can be used as a discount to reduce the booking amount to be paid by the member
through other payment modes. Members must log in with their enrolled phone number to access
and use their points.

3.5.2. Up to 50% of the booking amount can be paid using Treebo Reward Points available in a
member’s account.

3.5.3. For the purpose of redemption, 1 Treebo Point = ₹1

3.6. Membership Level-Wise Benefits:

While your membership level benefits are subject to change, and the applicable benefits for
each level are as follows:

*Please note that the above benefits are subject to availability, may not be available at all hotels
listed on the Treebo Club platforms (treebo.com and Treebo App), and on all dates. Treebo shall
provide a list of blackout dates when such benefits may not be redeemable.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

4.1. Normal cancellation & refund policy, as visible on the hotel details page at the time of
booking or in the booking voucher to be applicable for all members including Green, Silver &
Gold members of the Treebo Club Rewards program.

4.2. For Platinum members alone - the following cancellation policy would apply, depending on
the date and time of cancellation -
4.2.1. If cancellation is done before 12 PM of Check-In Date -
4.2.1.1. If none of the stay dates fall on a blackout date, then the full booking
amount is to be refunded given the following conditions are being met -
4.2.1.1.1. The Platinum member made the booking post logging-in using
his enrolled mobile number through treebo.com or the Treebo App.
4.2.1.1.2. There are less than 2 rooms in the booking (If there are more
than 2 rooms in the booking, the entire booking will be chargeable as per
the normal cancellation policy). 4.2.1.1.3. If the Platinum member has
multiple bookings in the same hotel on the same check-in date, and they
are all cancelled, only 1 booking would be refunded, the rest will not be
refunded and will be chargeable as per the cancellation policy mentioned
in the booking voucher,ifcancelled.

4.2.1.2. If any of the stay dates falls on a blackout date, then the cancellation &
refund policy as available on the hotel details page at the time of booking or in the
booking voucher of the guest to be applicable as is.
4.2.2. If cancellation is done post 12 PM of check-in date, then the cancellation & refund
policy as available on the hotel details page at the time of booking or in the booking
voucher of the guest to be applicable as is. 4.2.5. Refunds, as applicable, would be
processed within 30 days of booking cancellation.

4.3. For customers across all membership levels, cancellations post 12 PM of Check-In Date as
wellasanyno-shows will attract cancellation charges as mentioned in the booking voucher.

5.Availing Free Early Check-In/Late Check-Out

5.1. Free Early Check-In/Late Check-Out is available for Gold & Platinum members during their
membership period, subject to the following conditions -
5.1.1. Free Early Check-In and Late Check-Out will be available only in the base room
category of a given hotel, and are subject to availability of rooms in this room category.
5.1.2. Free Early Check-In & Late Check-Out can be availed maximum 5 days in advance of
the check-in date. 5.1.3. Free Early Check-In is earliest available from 3 AM, and Free Late
Check-out is latest available till 4 PM. 5.1.4. A member can avail free Early Check-In/Late
Check-Out on bookings having max 2 rooms 5.1.5. There is an upper quota of total rooms
allocated for Free Early Check-In and Late Check-Out on a given date in a given hotel. If
that quota has been exceeded already, Free Early Check-In and/or Late Check-out may not
be available, even when the hotel otherwise has availability for that particular date. 5.1.6.
Free Early Check-In is only available when the day before the check-in date does not fall
on a blackout date for the given hotel. Similarly, Free Late Check-Out is only available
when the day after the check-out date does not fall on a blackout date for the given hotel.
5.1.7. Both free early check-in and free late check-out cannot be availed in the same
booking. 5.1.8. These benefits cannot be given for a room in the Premium room category
of any hotel, and also cannot be given in a room category higher than the category
booked by the guest.

5.2. Eligible members must contact Treebo Support (9322800100) or the Priority Helpdesk
(available for Gold and Platinum members only) to avail these benefits.

6. Availing Free Room Upgrade


6.1. Free Room Upgrade as a benefit is available for Silver, Gold & Platinum members during
their membership period, subject to the following conditions -
6.1.1. Silver tier members are eligible for upto 1 free room upgrade during their
membership year, Gold tier members are eligible for upto 3 free room upgrades during
their membership year and Platinum tier members are eligible for maximum 1 free room
upgrade per calendar month during their membership year.
6.1.2. Free Room Upgrade is subject to availability, which means the room type will be
upgraded only if there is availability in the higher room category.
6.1.3. Room upgrades can be availed maximum 10 days in advance of check-in date.
6.1.4. Upon availing free room upgrade benefit, members can only upgrade to the room
category just above the booking’s initial room category. 2 room categories cannot be
skipped. For example - if the member has booked Oak (Standard) room type initially,
then on availing free room upgrade as a part of his/her membership benefit, he/she can
be upgraded to Maple (Deluxe) room category but not Mahogany (Premium) room
category.
6.1.5. Upgrades will be allowed only from Acacia to Oak to Maple. Maple to Mahongany
upgrades will not be possible. The highest room category eligible for an upgrade is Maple.
6.1.6. Free Room Upgrade is only available on dates other than blackout dates or peak
season days for the city/hotel booked.
6.1.7. A member can avail Free Room Upgrade on bookings having maximum 2 rooms,
and maximum stay duration of 2 nights. If the booking has a higher count of rooms or
nights, the booking will not be eligible for Free Room Upgrade.
6.1.8. Free Room upgrades are only available at hotels in our portfolio that offer free
upgrades.
6.2. This benefit will be automatically applied on a member’s stay given all conditions
mentioned before are met. A guest will receive an email/whatsapp confirmation whenever their
booking has been given a free room upgrade. Our system upgrades the rooms up to 12 hours
before check in. Guests are advised to wait until then to receive communication of their upgrade.
6.3. In case of cancellation the FRU will be credited back to the customer’s account within 30 days
of cancellation. Free Room Upgrades where there was a No Show by the guest will not be
credited back to the member.
7. Blackout Dates
7.1. Blackout dates are periods of high demand, when the overall desire to travel is at its highest.
This basically includes any long weekends, the entire month of December, large events etc. Due
to the increased demand during such dates, members will not be able to use some of the service
benefits which they are eligible for as per their loyalty tier. These blackout dates might be
different for different cities and hotels.
7.2. The list of blackout dates by city can be checked by calling the Treebo Support number
(9322800100) or by calling the Priority Helpdesk number for Gold & Platinum members
(8095223333). Treebo Club platform reserves the right to change the blackout dates for a given
hotel/city at any time without prior information.

8. General Terms and Conditions

8.1. Treebo Hospitality Ventures reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the
Program and its associated benefits at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.

8.2. Members may be removed from the Program if fraudulent activity or abuse is detected.
8.3. Members are responsible for keeping their contact information up-to-date.
8.4. Members will be able to avail benefits as well as become eligible for upgrades, only on the
mobile number associated with their enrollment and only when they login using the enrolled
mobile number. If bookings are created without logging-in, members will not be eligible for any
benefits.
8.5. These Terms are subject to change without notice, and the most current version will be
available on the Treebo Club website.
8.6. Treebo Club reserves the rights to pause / modify / discontinue or restart the loyalty program
or its subsequent membership benefits at any time without prior intimation.
9. Miscellaneous
9.1. PrivacyPolicy:ParticipationinTreeboClubRewardsLoyaltyProgramissubjecttotheterms
and conditions of the Treebo Club Privacy Policy, found at https://www.treebo.com/policy/.

9.2. SubjecttoApplicableLaw:Membershipandparticipationinissubjecttoandmaybevoid where


prohibited or restricted by applicable law, rule or regulation, or employer’s or customer’s policies
or requirements. In addition, you may enjoy certain statutory rights pursuant to the law of your
country of residence that may not be limited by these Program Terms. Nothing in these Program
Terms shall limit such statutory rights.

9.3. Indemnification:Youagreetoindemnify,releaseandholdharmlessTreeboClub,the Participating


Properties, and our Partners, and any of their parents, subsidiaries and affiliates, and their
respective directors, officers, employees and agents, from any liability, costs, damages and fees
(including attorney’s fees) arising out of any claims related to your membership in Treebo Loyalty
Program

9.4. ExitofParticipatingProperty:IfaParticipatingPropertyexitstheLoyaltyProgramforany reason, a


member will not earn points or qualifying nights for stays at such Participating Property, and any
Awards, other promotions and special offers will no longer be valid after the date on which the
Participating Property exited the Loyalty Program, even if the reservation for
a stay at the former Participating Property was made prior to that date. If a hotel ceases to be a
Participating Property after an Award Night reservation is made, but before the actual stay,
Treebo will use reasonable efforts to have the hotel honor the Award Night reservation but
cannot and does not guarantee that any such Award Night reservations will be honored. In
addition, at the discretion of Treebo, Award Nights may not be available for reservation at a hotel
once it is determined that such hotel will be leaving the Treebo system or otherwise will cease to
be a hotel in the Treebo system regardless of the length of time before such hotel leaves the
system.

9.5. InterpretationofLoyaltyProgramTerms:AllinterpretationsoftheseLoyaltyProgramterms
regarding membership are at the Company’s sole discretion, and the Company’s decisions will be
final.

9.6. CorrectionofBenefits:AtanytimeandintheCompany’ssolediscretion(including,without
limitation, where a Member was not eligible to earn a specific benefit pursuant to these Program
Rules), the Company may correct (i) the amount of Points credited to a Member’s Account, and
(ii) any other benefit that has been credited to a Member’s Account, including, without limitation,
any membership level-status allotted to the Member.

9.7. Transfers:ExceptasexpresslyallowedintheseProgramTermsorwithTreebo’swritten consent,


membership, points, free nights, membership level status, and other Program benefits may not
be sold, exchanged, bartered, brokered, transferred, purchased, auctioned or given away,
including without limitation as part of a domestic relations matter, divorce, inheritance, or
otherwise by operation of law.

9.8. ProgramModificationsorTermination:Tothelargestextentpermittedunderapplicable law, we


reserve the right at any time, in our sole discretion, with or without notice and without any
further liability or obligation, even though changes may affect the value of points already
accumulated, to (i) add, modify, delete, change, suspend or terminate (“Change”) Treebo Club
Rewards Loyalty Program, in whole or in part; including without limitation any of the rules,
procedures, conditions, benefits, awards, award levels, Participating Properties, Partner
affiliations and opportunities, earning terms, redemption rules, or award availability (ii) Change
these Program Terms, in whole or in part; (iii) Change any Treebo Club Rewards or offers; (iv)
Change the ability to redeem Treebo Club points in whole or in part; (v) Change the procedures
for redeeming points, including the number of points required for redemption; (vi) Change the
ability to accrue points, including but not limited to imposing time limits and changes in point
values, in whole or in part; or (vii) assign in whole or in part Treebo Club Points or Rewards to any
related or unrelated entity. Upon assignment, the performance of the obligations herein will
thereafter be the sole and direct responsibility of that entity. In the event of the termination of
Treebo Loyalty Program or Rewards/Points, all points not redeemed by the termination date of
Treebo Loyalty Program or Rewards/Points will be forfeited without compensation or any further
obligation or liability, and no redemption of points will be honored thereafter. In accumulating
points and otherwise participating in the Program, you may not rely upon the
continued availability of Treebo Loyalty Program or Rewards/Points, or any earning, redemption,
or other offers made in connection with Treebo Loyalty Program or Rewards/Points. All offers are
available while supplies last, subject to any applicable cancellation policies, and are subject to
change and/or revocation without notice. Program account information is our proprietary
information and may be accessed by members only for the purpose of obtaining information
regarding their account. We reserve the right to audit or investigate Program accounts and
information at any time without notice to ensure compliance with Program Terms. During an
audit or investigation, information may be shared with parties assisting in such audit or
investigation

9.9. GoverningLawandInterpretation:Yourenrolmentapplicationandpointsearning,and redemption


claims under Treebo Loyalty Program are subject to our verification and acceptance in our sole
discretion, all which acts shall be deemed made, performed, transacted, and closed in India. Any
claim or dispute arising or relating thereto or otherwise involving Treebo Club Rewards Loyalty
Program, membership or these Program Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance
with the laws of India, without regard to its choice of law or conflict of laws terms. All
interpretations of the Program Terms shall be at the sole discretion of Treebo.

9.10. DisputeResolution:AnyactionarisingoutoforrelatingtotheseTermsshallbebrought
exclusively before the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka in India.

9.11. ForceMajeure:OurfailuretoadministertheTreeboClubRewardsLoyaltyProgram, Rewards or


points in accordance with these Program Terms because of an act of God, epidemic, pandemic,
war, fire, riot, terrorism, earthquake, actions of federal, state, or local governmental authorities,
including but not limited to the imposition of sanctions, or for any other reason beyond our
reasonable control will not be deemed a breach of these Program Terms.

9.12. Severability:IfanyprovisionoftheseTermsandconditionsisheldbyacourtofcompetent
jurisdiction to be void, invalid, contrary to law, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision
shall be changed and interpreted to best accomplish the objectives of the original provision to
the fullest extent allowed by law and the remaining provisions of these Terms shall remain in full
force and effect.

9.13. ElectronicCommunications:WhenyouinteractwithusovertheInternet,youconsentto the


formation of contractual relations through electronic communications. You represent and
warrant that you have the legal right, power, and authority to agree to these Program Terms on
behalf of yourself and the member or other entity on whose behalf you are acting while
participating in the site if not acting only for yourself. You further agree that your use constitutes
an electronic signature and that you have formed, executed, entered into, accepted the terms of,
and otherwise authenticated these Program Terms and acknowledged and agreed that these
Program Terms are an electronic record and as such are completely valid, have legal effect, are
enforceable, and are binding on, and non-refutable by you and the member, buyer, supplier or
other entity on whose behalf you are acting. You are responsible for remaining knowledgeable as
to Program Terms, newsletters, account statements, the privacy policy, and
your membership account status. We may attempt, but are not required, to notify you of matters
of interest, including notification of point forfeiture or Program changes. We are not liable for any
failure to do so and are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of your contact
information, for problems related to any of the equipment or programming associated or utilized
by you, for any human error, for any interruption, deletion, omission, defect or line failure of any
electronic communications network or electronic transmission, for problems relating to
computer, mobile or other equipment, software, inability to access any site or online service, for
