SBI Clerk Selection Process 2025

The State Bank of India conducts a two-phase selection process for SBI Clerk recruitment. To
get selected for the SBI Clerk post, candidates have to clear both the preliminary and main
examinations. The final selection will be based on the marks obtained in the main examination.
There is no interview round. The medium of online examination (preliminary & main) will be
bilingual, i.e., Hindi and English. Candidates will have the option to choose the medium while
registering their application.

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination: 100 Questions of 100 marks to be solved in 60 minutes.

Stage 2: Main Examination: 190 Questions of 200 marks to be solved in 2 hours 40 minutes.

SBI Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

The SBI Clerk preliminary exam comprises three sections: English Language, Reasoning Ability,
and Numerical Ability. The total marks allotted for the online preliminary test are 100.
Candidates will be given 20 minutes for each section.

For the main exam, there will be 190 questions from 4 sections of a total of 200 marks. The
duration of the exam will be 2 hours and 40 minutes. There will be sectional timings in the SBI
Clerk Mains Exam 2025.
