8.1 Instrument Housing
Step 1: Remove the three M3 screws. Remove the top cover of the housing.

Note: Before removing the main panel of the housing, disconnect the reagent carousel rotating button line
and three indicator cables on it.

Note 1: Front door of the housing does not need to be removed. To facilitate presenting the internal
structure of the entire system, the front door is not displayed in the figures.
Note 2: You may perform only part of the above steps as required. Steps 4 and 5 must be performed in
sequence. Steps 7 to 9 must be performed in sequence.
Note 3: To assemble the housing, perform the above steps in reversed order.
Note 4: Before instrument disassembly, make sure to cut off the power supply.

of the entire system (blue part as indicated in the figure) → Remove the module wiring terminal → Remove
the three M6 screws, and remove the module component → Assemble (in reversed order).

and remove the idler (blue part as indicated in the figure) → Lift the chain, so that the hex key can be inserted
into the jackscrew on the sprocket (when necessary, part of the lifting mechanism can be removed; to facilitate
presenting the structure, chain in the figure is not displayed) → Remove the two M5 jackscrews from the
sprocket (thread adhesive is applied; therefore, you need to properly heat them to facilitate removing), and
remove the sprocket → Remove the four M4 screws → Replace the material → Assemble (in reversed order).
Note: 1) Before installing back the jackscrews onto the sprocket, you need to apply thread adhesive again.
2) Parallel keys are installed in the key groove of the roller shaft, with the short jackscrew aligning with the
parallel key.
