Once it is Learn’t in the unit will Beep to confirm when you press the remote or Call Point.
To test that the Call Point is Learnt in, press the Call Point a few times and make
sure the unit beeps to acknowledge that it is correctly learnt in. To Exit back to the MAIN Menu, Press the
ENTER button or continue with Learning in additional Call Points to the unit.

HARD-WIRE MASTER RESET

The unit can be wired up to any Normally Open Switch contact which will be
installed in a suitable position for the nursing staff to be able to press to cancel
a activation.

Please follow the wiring diagram below for connecting up a hard wire switch reset.

HOW TO OPERATE THE SYSTEM
The NURSE-CALL unit will respond immediately when a Call Point has been pressed.
The unit will sound an internal buzzer and will save the time & date that the call was made.
The unit is able to store up to 40 Events in a buffer memory if they are not reset by either a MASTER
reset or the actual Call Point Reset.

The ADMIN default code is 1,2,3,4 and should be changed when the unit is installed. The Admin code
is used to enrol call points, back-up the unit, and various other parameters that wouldbe programmed by
a qualified technician. The Admin code should not be given to nursing staff using this system.

Saving Events to a microSD card

NURSE CALL STATION


First make sure the microSD card is formatted to FAT32. Then insert the
card into the slot on the bottom right of the unit.
Press MEMORY, followed by 1. The unit will then start the process.
When done you can eject the microSD card and view it on a PC in either
Notepad or Import it to Excel.

FIRMWARE UPDATE
It is possible to update the units Firmware. Please consult with Sherlotronics regarding availability of the
latest software version. As we make improvements we will make the firmware available.

The procedure to update the firmware is as follows.


Save the firmware onto a formatted microSD card. De-Power the NURSECALL unit and then insert the microSD
card into the card holder. Power up the NURSECALL. The unit will detect that the microSD card has a firmware
and update file automatically. The Display will read [FIRMWARE UPDATE]. This takes approx 10 seconds.
Remove the card after the firmware is updated.
NB:- Do not leave the microSD card in the unit if it has a firmware update file.

Warranty Policy
The goods supplied by Sherlotronics shall be subject to the provisions of sections 55 to 57 of the
Consumer Protection Act (68/2008) except where the provisions of the warranty contained in the
Sherlotronics documentation are more favourable to the purchaser. Subject to the warranty
contained in the Sherlotronics product documentation, if applicable, Sherlotronics products are
warranted for a period of (24 Months) after delivery. However, it is expressly noted that batteries
carry a (6 Month) warranty due to the nature of these products being such that they are subject
to possible misuse. For equipment not of Sherlotronics manufacture the warranty as supplied by
the original manufacturer will apply if such warranty is more favourable to the purchaser than the
relevant provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (68/2008). Such warranty is valid only once
full payment has been received for such goods.
