This study focuses on the level of exposure to violent contents in social media as

perceived by students in terms of cyber stalking, threats, depicting violence,

pornographic contents and to the effect of exposure to violent contents in social media

among criminology students in terms of behavior changes, psychological impact and

cognitive effects. The researcher used statistical method, which implies collecting

quantitative data to determine the Effect of Exposure on Violent Social Media among

Criminology students in South East Asian Institute of technology Inc. This study

revealed that there is no significant relationship between the Effect of Exposure on

Violent Social Media among Criminology Student in South East Asian Institute of

Technology Inc. Thus, this study recommended the Criminology students may serve as

there reference to make programs how to prevent the exposure on violent social media.

Social Media fulfills multiple roles including communication, content, sharing

information, networking, marketing and branding entertainment and information. Social

Media has become a part of everyday life shaping everything from person interactions

to policy culture and business.
