1. Principles in washing clothes

Here are some principles of washing clothes:

easier it will be to remove

washing machine. Hand washing detergent can create too many suds in your
washing machine.
 Wash gently- wash clothes lightly to moderately soiled on a cold water setting.
Washing on a cold water setting is gentle and saves energy.
 Check clothing labels- clothing labels can tell you how to best wash and care for
each item.
 Unbutton and fasten Zippers- Unbuutton shirts and fasten zippers before washing
 Dry clothes properly- don’t wring out clothes. Proper drying is just as important as
washing and rinsing.
 Wash less- wash clothes only when necessary. Washing clothes too often shortens
their life.

The standard procedure for washing clothes includes sorting, selecting the right
detergent and water temperature, and rinsing.
 Sorting- group clothes by color, fabriic type and soil level. Check the label for
special instructions

washing
 Selecting detergent- use the right detergent for the fabric and washing machine.
Follow the instructiobs on the detergent packaging
 Select water temprature-choose the right water termperature for fabric. Hot water
can remove stains, but check the care label.
 Selecting the cycle- choose the wash cycle that best suits the load
 Rinsing- rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove detergent and dirt
 Dryig- follow the drying instructions in the care label ti prevent shrinking or
misshaping

garments is another option
