Criminal Possession of Stolen Property 5th degree (misdemeanor) Criminal Facilitation 4th degree (misdemeanor)
Criminal Solicitation 4th degree (misdemeanor) Endangering the welfare of a child (misdemeanor) Coff was arrested on April 5th in the City of Auburn, arraigned in the Village of Moravia Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. He has since been released on bail. Anthony J. Rio age 17 of 8910 NYS Rt.90 King Ferry, N.Y.
Grand larceny 4th degree (felony) 3 separate counts (firearm and credit cards) Petit larceny (misdemeanor) 2 separate counts Rio was arrested at his residence on March 26th, arraigned in the Town of Sennett Court and remanded to the Cayuga County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond. Rio remains in custody. 13 year old juvenile male from the Moravia area- Burglary 3rd, Grand Larceny 4th and Petit larceny ( charges filed in Family Court) A joint investigation between the Cayuga County Sheriffs Office and the Moravia Village Police Department reveals that these three defendants are responsible for a series of thefts from motor vehicles dating back to at least July 2011 in the Village of Moravia and the Towns of Moravia, Locke and Genoa. As a result of the investigation a .44 caliber handgun reported stolen from a motor vehicle that was inside of a garage has been recovered. The investigation also revealed that the 17

year old and the 13 year old were acting at the direction of David Coff in many of these incidents and that Coff did secrete some of the stolen property, including a stolen Yamaha 250 motorcycle, at his residence in Moravia. The stolen handgun and several other stolen items were recovered at the residence of Anthony Rio in King Ferry. Some of these defendants have also been charged by the Moravia Village Police Department in conjunction with their investigations. The investigation is continuing.
