VOLUME 1 , ISSUE 6 Good News Club Volunteers Needed Northside has an exciting ministry opportunity partnering with Meadow Glen Elementary to provide staff for Good News Club. The purpose of Good News Club is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish (disciple) them in the Word of God. Six people are needed for one day a week (Tuesday) from 2:30-3:30 pm. If you are interested in volunteering or would like more information, please contact David Ford at 803.520.5671 or dford@northsidebaptist.org Wednesday Nights at Northside Join us for a great time of fellowship at our Wednesday evening meals (4:456:00pm) followed by solid teaching (6:00pm Worship Center). The menu: fried chicken, green beans, oven roasted potatoes, pasta salad, and for dessert - Ghirardelli brownies. Silver Saints Singers Concert: The Silver Saints Singers are proud to present their spring concert, Jubilee. Join us for updates from our Stewardship, Human Resource and Future Development Teams. All members are encouraged to attend. APRIL 22, 2012 A Weekend at Northside with Kay & David Arthur! Join Kay & David Arthur for a weekend Bible Conference at Northside on Friday and Saturday, October 5-6, 2012. (Friday, October 5, 7-10pm; Saturday, October 6, 9 am 5pm). This conference is for Men, Women & Young Adults. Advance tickets will be available starting April 29 on Sunday Mornings in the Lobby at Northside Cost $40. Tickets purchased after September 15 will be $50. Tickets are also available at www.scprecept.org or by calling 803.356.4640. Running Together: Special One Day Class Join Pastor Rocky on Saturday, April 28, from 8:45 a.m. 12:00 p.m., in the Student Center, as he teaches the complete Running Together Northside Membership Class. If youre new to Northside or if youre a member who hasnt previously attended, this class is for you! Childcare (ages 11 and under) will be provided by reservation only. We are asking attendees to please register in advance. Registration forms will be handed out with the bulletin today (complete and drop off at the Information Desk) or call Mary @ 926-3029. Deadline to enroll is Wednesday, April 25. Thirsty Day Camps Thirsty Day Camps summer registration is now open. You can register your child for one week or twelve at www. northsidebaptist.org! Cost: $100 per week, after registration fees, and includes field trips. Sibling discount available. Senior Adult Day Luncheon Join us on Sunday, May 6 in the CFC Fellowship Hall at 12:30 pm for the Senior Adult Day Luncheon. Tickets are $5.00 and must be purchased in advance. The last day to purchase tickets is May 2. Tickets are on sale in your LIFE Groups or at the CFC desk. Need A Glider Rocker? The Preschool Department has five glider rockers available. Orchestra Concert: The Columbia Community Concert Band will be performing Remembering Titanic in our very own Worship Center on April 27 at 7:30 p.m. The Concert Band is a 65-piece orchestra that will be performing with New Century Salon Orchestra, a 14-piece orchestra that performs 1900s period music. The concert is free, and open to the public. VBS 2012Volunteer Training: For all those who have currently volunteered or plan to volunteer, please attend the volunteer training TONIGHT at 5:00pm in the Worship Center. You wont want to miss this valuable opportunity to make a life changing difference through VBS. Theres a lot to do before the plane is ready for take-off on June 25th-29th , and you wont want to miss one detail! See you there! Volunteers Needed - Northside Caf We have our own Northside Caf coffee that is roasted weekly right here in South Carolina and then ground and brewed in our caf. We also have baked goods to enjoy.
