Its been a long time that I have updated my phone on the latest version of Andro id and since then

my old GPS was not compatible with it any more.:( Searching th ough over the internet I found something that you may like! I know that I should not post this in this website as it is designed to publish only my photographs BUT I think that a good GPS program is necessary and more t han welcome if you would like to explore the world and take good photos. This post most refers to you if you are from Cyprus or Greece and have an androi d or a nokia or a Windows phone. You can install this application to your phone if you are not from Cyprus or Gre ece but you have to find at your own maps for your country. A simple Google sea rch will find you a way! E.g. sygic France maps. So here is how it goes: 1. 1. Connect your phone into a PC and go to the root directory of your memo ry card. (root means the directory when you open your sdcard, lets say that your sdcard letter is y the root directory will be y:\ ) create a folder named sygic t the quotes. 2. 2.Download one of the available Sygic versions regarding to what mobile phone you have. Android: Eclair (v8.07) | FroYo (v8.14) | GingerBread (v8.24) ( Eclair & FroYo too) Symbian (Nokia): v8.24 Winmo (Windows Mobile): v8.04 | v8.24 3. 3. Place the zip/rar file that you have downloaded inside the sygic folder th at it has been created to step 1.(remember that we are working in the root direc tory and your phone should be connected to the PC). 4. 4.Right click on the zip/rar file which is on the folder and choose EXTRA CT HERE . (now in your sygic folder you will have 3 folders and one single file ). * *NOTE** The winmo version has one more folder named 2577. 5. 5. Now using a file manager from your phone (Astro or File Manager for ANDROID which can be found in Market) locate the setupandroid.apk , setupsymbian.si s or setupwinmobile.exe according to your version and RUN it to install the App. (Y ou should have a new app named Mobile Maps 10? now) 6. 6.Run the application, it will ask you to ACTIVATE your map. Choose the right option to Activate . It will give you 2 options now: Choose Manual with activa tion code . Proceed as it says until it gives you a DEVICE ID (write it down somew here on a paper) 7. 7. Using your PC now access your memory card and go into the and locate SygicKG.exe MAPS folder

8. 8. RUN the keygen file mention above and click the BROWSE button. Now loc ate the SMM10 Europe.mlm file located into the MAPS folder again and make it the s election for the box. 9. 9. In the DEVICE ID box type in the code you got from the application when we run it in step 6 (also check box for 8.16 version if that s the one used), then click GENERATE.

1. 10.Write down this code as this is your REGISTRATION code you will enter in the app wizard in order to register the app. Return to the phone and run the ap plication. Register it with the code we got from the step above and you should n ow have a fully working GPS navigation program with CYPRUS & GREECE maps install ed. Enjoy a full and accurate navigation system. **Note: This is NOT legal, Don t SAY that I did not warned you.** If you would like to buy a legal Copy of the software, go to the Sygic website. If you have any problems or need help don t hesitate to contact me. If you would like to have a map of an other country contact me and I will try to find it for you.
