• 4th generation family company that lives, breaths and thinks textile
• Manufacturer of home-textile products using recycled textile waste and virgin materials
• Specializing in various techniques: from recycling materials through non-woven stitch
bonding and needle punching, to knitting technologies

• Vertical plant: incoming materials -> manufacturing -> ready to sell products

How it all began? (company milestones)
• 1920 – First founded in Lodz, Poland by two brothers

• 1924 – Textile manufacturing factory is established in Israel

• 1953 – Unique Floor cloth is developed and introduced to the local market

• 1960's-1970's – Factory expands, adding new technologies and products

• 1983 – A new technology is introduced and implemented, to produce non-woven fabrics.

• 1990 – New vertical factory is establish, in current location

• 1997 – Factory expands, adding a 2nd production line

• 1998 – "Textile recreation" process is developed involving

recycling and upcycling

• 2011 – Expanding production and global presence:

7 production lines, 3 product segments - Cleaning, Living,
Industrial, exporting to more than 30 countries

Our company runs a quality management system that complies with ISO 9001:2008 stan-
dards, and is approved by the Standards Institution of Israel. Ofertex was awarded by the
Standards Institution of Israel with a Gold Mark certificate for bearing four quality marks:
ISO 9001:2008, The Green Mark, ISO 14001:2004 and SI 18001:2007. We are also cur-
rently in the process of receiving a Platinum Certificate, representing the addition of a 5th
mark, for social responsibility.

Our everyday approach is to creatively combine varied

We like to call this “Textile Recreation”.
