Kia ora tatou In the final two weeks of the term friends and whanau joined the staff and students to share in a Science learning celebration that showcased this terms Inquiry learning content. Many hands on experiments that reflected the changing of physical properties were on display as well as many digital presentations. Thanks for attending this evening and ensuring that it was a true learning celebration, the staff have gone the extra mile on this Inquiry and the learning has been very engaging for the student learners. I know that you will all appreciate having your pantries back and stocked with baking soda and vinegar! We have also hosted Wilson McCaskill at Salford, he worked with 4 groups of students using his games to facilitate difficult conversations to develop skills for life. For those of you who attended the parent evening he was inspirational and thought provoking. I must again acknowledge the generous funding support from the Community Trust in making this parent evening possible. We will be looking at using more of the strategies with students next term once staff have had time to discuss what this might look like.
