Price and Price Elder Law in
Haddonfield has been serving the
South Jersey region for more
than 30 years.
Protecting ones assets, finding
the right long-term care support
and ensuring proper health care
coverage are some of the many
challenges the elderly and their
families must address. This be-
comes especially important when
a loved one experiences a life-
changing healthcare emergency.
Most families are not prepared
with the necessary legal docu-
ments to transition their loved
one from the hospital to an assist-
ed living community, nursing
home or other healthcare center.
These documents include a liv-
ing will and power of attorney.
Price and Price Elder Law has
introduced a new service called
Mobile Interactive Law Office
(MiLO), which allows staff to
meet home-bound or facility-
based clients on-site in an emer-
gency by video teleconference. All
legal work, including document
preparation and execution, can
be completed at that time at the
Price and Price office and
emailed to a remote location.
Price and Price client liaisons
will bring all necessary video
equipment to the home or facility
to initiate the on-line interview
with an attorney.
Following the on-line inter-
view, all legal documents can be
prepared, printed and formalized
for immediate delivery to the
client. MiLO allows Price and
Price to meet the needs of their
clients in a fast and cost effective
manner, especially for family
members who may be located out
of state. The target time to com-
plete this service is 24 hours
when the client has the capacity
to understand and approve the
documents. The following servic-
es are available with the MiLO
program:
Initial consultation / client in-
terview.
Power of attorney.
Living will.
The Price and Price Elder Law
team demonstrated the Mobile In-
teractive Law Office (MiLO) serv-
ice at its main office in Haddon-
field on Tuesday, May 22. Nearly
100 local healthcare professionals
from hospitals, rehab centers, as-
sisted living communities, nurs-
ing homes, hospice and home-
care agencies attended to learn
how MiLO can be used to help
their clients.
Please contact Price & Price
with any questions at (856) 429-
5522.
Demonstrations of the MiLO
service are also available upon re-
quest at any local South Jersey or
Philadelphia healthcare facility.

in our opinion
F
rom all of us at Elauwit Media
to all of our loyal readers, we
wish you the happiest and
healthiest Fourth of July.
As rough as things are in our coun-
try our economy is still poor, unem-
ployment is extremely high and the
Phillies cant seem to win a baseball
game anymore things could be a lot
worse for us.
A quick glance at the world around
us reveals just how fortunate we are, as
Americans, to have the freedoms we
do. And lets face it, these freedoms we
often take for granted.
Imagine, for just a moment, what it
must be like to live in Syria.
Imagine what it must be like to live
in China, where we recently learned of
how real and barbaric the nations one-
child-only policy really is.
Imagine what it must be like to live
in Egypt, where theres still instability
and a lack of confidence in the nations
parliament.
We live in a nation where, despite
our differences, we manage to co-exist
peacefully for the most part.
We live in a nation where our Con-
gress and where the office of the presi-
dent have functioned and survived for
236 years.
We live in a nation where, for the
most part, were free to do as we please.
This simply isnt the case in many
corners of the world.
Today, we give thanks for the liber-
ties won for us hundreds of years ago.
We give thanks for the many women
and men who have made incredible
sacrifices to protect these freedoms in
battle in Afghanistan and Iraq and
countless other places in the Middle
East and abroad.
We remember their families who,
like they, have also made sacrifices by
saying goodbye so we can do things as
simple as having a barbecue sometime
today.
Finally, we give thanks for all that
America is and stands for. It may not
be perfect, but a quick glance of the
news shows: life could be much worse.
Happy Fourth of July
A quick look at world news a reminder of how fortunate we Americans are
Independence Day 2012
July 4, 2012 today we give thanks
for all the liberties we have as
Americans. We give thanks for the
sacrifices our miliary continues to
make. We give thanks that we are

letters to the editor
Stolen bench needs to be
returned to rightful place
Since June of 1998, when I moved to my
home on Kings Highway, an old bench
(which I inherited with the house) has
been a fixture on the front porch. It has ac-
commodated many passers by, providing
respite for weary shoppers or shade from
the sun. On occasional nights, it has hosted
those with nowhere else to sleep. Once, it
was pressed into action by a loving couple,
wanting to use the house as a backdrop to
their engagement photograph. Family
groups have arranged themselves on it for
holiday snapshots; loyal supporters of
many town parades have taken advantage
of its prime location.
On the night of June 25, the old bench
was stolen. Perhaps it was a prank; maybe
it was recognized as a profitable collectible
by a nighttime prowler.
Unrealistically, I hope that the old bench
will be returned to its rightful place.
What a shame.

havior were changing forever.
Filled with frisky flappers, dashing lead-
ing men and a dragon-lady of a villainess
audiences will love to hate, Thoroughly

evening of madcap merriment.

Anne Anderson
June 23, 2012
Anne Anderson (nee Gentles)
died on June 23.
The resident of Collingswood
was formerly a long-time Had-
donfield resident and the beloved
wife of the late Gustave W. Loving
mother of William F. (Nancy) and
Elizabeth Anderson-Domer
(Jack).
Also survived by two grand-
children, Laura Anne Camp
(Jason) and Gustave W. Anderson
(Noel), two great grandchildren
and her sister, Margaret
Gentles.
For many years, Anderson had
been a volunteer for the Camden
County Girl Scouts. Additionally,
she had volunteered for Bancroft
School and Kingsway Learning
Center, both located in Haddon-
field.
Interment was at the Sunset
Memorial Park, Somerton, Pa.

dersons name may be made to

obituary
the way business is done in the
borough, pointing to the fact that
notices were sent out to residents
near Washington Avenue notify-
ing them that the engineers were
considering installing a sidewalk
on the street while the road im-
provements were completed.
Mayor Tish Colombi said the
public information meeting was
well attended with Washington
Avenue neighbors, with about 30
residents attending the informal
meeting at borough hall.
However, Colombi said the
commissioners did agree to try
and post the agendas prior to the
meetings by at least 48 hours to
give residents time to process in-
formation.
Hallahan also questioned the
need for a sidewalk in the area,
asking why it was necessary to
spend more than $60,000 on tax-
payer money for the walkway.
Sidewalks are good for proper-
ty values, good for safety, and
good for the walkability of the
town, Commissioner Ed Borden
said.
She went on to criticize the
commissioners for also violating
the intent of the open public
meetings act law by not paying
their two official newspapers for
meetings they dont want the pub-
lic to know about. The borough
just has to send meeting notices
to newspapers 48 hours before a
special meeting is announced,
but the newspapers dont have to
publish them.
The borough is 100 percent in
accordance with the open public
meetings act, Borough Solicitor
Mario Iavicolli said. Haddonfield
sends a complete list of its yearly
meetings to its two official news-
papers in January each year and
always sends notice for a special
meeting at least 48 hours prior.
The borough actually goes
above and beyond the open public
meetings act by posting agendas
online prior to the meetings, he
said.
