Challenges and opportunities for OB

In the dynamic world of today, there are various challenges and opportunities in managing OB. Following are the challenges: 1 . G l o b a l i z a t i o n - Organizations are no longer constrained by national borders, the world has become a global village. Increased foreign assignments, working with different people like bosses, peers and other employees who were born and raised in different culture, to work effectively with them one has to understand how their culture, geographic and religion have shaped them. Foreign collaborations, mergers and acquisitions have also led to the changing dynamics of the business world. 2. Managing workforce diversity - People in organizations have become heterogeneous demographically. This has led to work force diversity of people from different countries. It is indeed a challenge for the organization to ensure that maximum benefits can be reaped from diverse teams. Bringing about harmony amongst the global workforce and maintaining a balance between individual and organizational aspirations. 5.Improving people skills Designing motivating jobs, how creating effective teams, techniques for improvinginterpersonal skills

6.Stimulating innovation and change Victory will go the organization the maintain their flexibility, continually improve theirquality and beat their competition in market place.
