Through the BGPMS, we
determine

plans and programs that lead to the barangays
efficient delivery of basic services and effective
discharge of its functions and responsibilities; and

COVERAGE
BGPMS is to be implemented in
42,028 barangays by 2014.
Initially, BGPMS was implemented in 1,634
barangays at one barangay per city and
municipality in 2011.

A. DILG OFFICES
I. The DILG Central Office
Oversee the nationwide implementation of BGPMS;
Provide policy direction and guidelines for its implementation;
Provide technical assistance to and coordinate with the DILG
Regional Offices in the implementation of the project;
Monitor project implementation and submit reports to SILG
thru USLG; and
Conduct periodic evaluation.
