Try to understand every single word?

All questions are Multiple Choice


They are testing whether:
you can identify key and correct information in a spoken text.
you can infer meaning/attitudes from what is said or how it is said.
There are 25 questions which must be completed in 50 minutes.
The level of difficulty increases as the test progresses.
Conversations may be about:
Accommodation
Transport
Entertainment
Health
Shopping
Others

Choose the correct answer: A, B, C or D


Questions may involve sentence completion (stem sentences)

DOS & DONTS


Answer all the questions even if you dont feel sure about

an answer.
Read the questions before the listening starts.
Read the questions carefully. Find the keywords which you
can listen for.
Listen for stressed words.
Be prepared for synonyms and paraphrasing.
Don't panic if you miss one question. Look ahead and
concentrate on the next one.
