DECISION MAKING
TYPES OF DECISIONS
1. Programmed decisions
These decisions are well defined, repetitive and routine in
nature. For these, a predefined decision rules or algorithms
are worked out so that every time the situation occurs, a
new analysis is not required.
2. Non -programmed decisions
These types of decisions are occasional and unique in
nature. There is no pre-defined procedure available to solve
these problems and a new analysis is required for each
occurrence
