    This study aims to compare the effects of organic and commercial fertilizers on the growth of pechay seeds. Specifically, it will look at the growth rate, number of leaves, and weight of pechay treated with an organic fish internal organs emulsion fertilizer versus an inorganic 7-7-7 fertilizer using a hydroponics system. The study hopes to determine whether the organic fertilizer is a feasible alternative to commercial fertilizers and if its use should be encouraged based on its effects on plant growth.     COMPARATIVE STUDIES BETWEEN
    ORGANIC AND COMMERCIAL
    FERTILIZER”
    RATIONALE
    Inorganic fertilizers have become the pillars supporting a burgeoning
    world population. With population doubling during the lifetime of each of
    us, a tremendous strain has been put on the ability of agriculture to feed
    mankind. Agriculture has responded magnificently, with yields of most
    crops more than doubling in the past 15 years.

    This study determined the change in net income of users of commercial


    organic fertilizer (UCOF) relative to non-users of fertilizers (NUF) in
    vegetable crop production in Osun State of Nigeria to find out if its use
    should be encouraged based on economic reason only. Nested sampling
    technique was used in selecting UCOF and NUF respondents. Data on yield,
    quantities and prices of inputs and output; and reasons for non-use of
    commercial organic fertilizer were collected and analyzed using descriptive
    and inferential statistics, partial budgetary technique, sensitivity analysis
    RATIONALE
    This study aims to know the reason why the researcher will
    choose this kind of organic fish fertilizer to our pitchay.

    The study will be limited to the production of organic fish internal
    organs emulsion fertilizer. Only the internal organs of a mixture of fishes
    will be utilized as the source of fertilizer.
