Mission:
To provide a unified emergency and disaster
management service for the people of Malaybalay City.
Vision:
To be the prime provider of emergency response,
disaster risk reduction and management towards a safer
community.
Malaybalay Emergency Response Unit
(MERU)
Functions:
• Provide pre-hospital emergency care 24/7 (medical and trauma
emergencies).
• Provide an inter-facility transport within Malaybalay City (Hospital to
Hospital and Hospital to Home)
• Conduct lectures/trainings on Basic Life Support / CPR (BLS/CPR) and
Standard First Aid (SFA). Accredited by Department of Health
911 Emergency Calling Center
Functions:
• As a relay station catering to any incident ranging
from police, fire and medical assistance through the
use of telephone, mobile phone and radio.
• Serves as center of communication in Malaybalay City
• Receives calls, locates the site of emergency, solicits
incident information and the location of the caller.
• Dispatches emergency and non-emergency incidents
to concern agencies.
