Sarino Lecturer At present, tourism has the distinction as, one of the world’s largest industries.
It consists many components such as
transportation, accommodations, food service, tourist destinations, tourist attractions, travel brokers as well as travel related services. AIRLINES Airline employment is exciting and attractive to the adventurous whether in the air or in the ground.
Salary levels are relatively high.
Long-term prospects for airline careers
are bright. Some of the jobs include: Flight attendants Ticket agents Airline food service jobs Flight lounge receptionists Flight attendant supervisor passenger service representatives Flight dispatchers Crew schedulers Ground hosts FLIGHT ATTENDANTS Perform several personal conducive services to the safety and comfort of the passengers during flight. Greets passengers, verifies tickets, records destinations and assigns seats, explains the use of safety belts, oxygen masks and life jackets. Serves meals and beverages. FLIGHT ATTENDANTS TICKET AGENTS/RESERVATION AGENTS/CLERKS They work at airport ticket counters They answer questions about fares and schedules Checking with reservation agents about seat availability They check baggage and add excess weight charges if necessary They issue boarding passes. Ticket agents/reservation agents AIRLINE FOOD SERVICE Travelers now expect a meal onboard or at least a snack if the flight is short.

Requires strong background in the entertainment field and exceptional ability to work well with people.
