ASOD VIII SEMESTRE The city that visits more times is Medellin I can not miss the tourist sites of Medellin, cradle of great artists such as Fernando Botero, museums and cultural spaces to enjoy art. In addition, because it is anchored in the Aburra Valley, it is an area rich in forests, lagoons and parks. We do not have to worry about what to do in Medellin, as the tourist offers are very wide. During my vacations in Medellin I could enjoy modern lodging facilities, department stores, religious worship temples with a great tradition; not forgetting the paisa culture with its typical gastronomy and ancestral crafts. It is a city that combines tradition, science and nature. A thousand places to visit in Medellín we will have on our 2019 vacations in Colombia. The castle museum Located in the El Poblado neighborhood is the El Castillo Museum in Medellín, an institution dedicated to decorative arts and one of the most important historical places in Medellín. It has a cost of 13,000 thousand pesos per person. Medellin Botanical Garden One of the most emblematic tourist places in Medellin for nature lovers is the Joaquín Antonio Uribe Botanical Garden. It is located very close to the Universidad del Metro station, in the North Zone of the city, where you will also find other places of interest such as the University Museum, the San Pedro Cemetery Museum, the Municipal Planetarium, the House of Music and several parks . Freedom Square The Paseo Plaza de la Libertad is a Civic Center of Antioquia, located in an L-shaped space on the avenue of the Railroad and 42nd Street. It is connected with the Carabobo Avenue in an urban project that seeks to integrate several areas of the city, with public and government buildings and spaces. Botero Square Botero Square is the place of main attraction of the city Rosada, as Medellín is also known, where you can enjoy the largest collection of works by the artist. Here are 23 works that include 'The hand', 'Man and horse', 'Eva', 'Seated woman', 'Maternity', 'Walking man', 'Roman soldier', 'Horse', 'Dog' , 'Cat' and 'Sphinx'. Rafael Uribe Palace of Culture Uribe is a must-see site if you are a lover of arts and culture. You can arrive from the Parque Berrio station and in its vicinity you will find the Botero Square, the Antioquia Museum, the Berrio Park, the Candelaria Basilica and the Veracruz Church.
