Review of Related Literature
Ecobrick is a sustainable way to reuse non-biodegradable plastic waste as the
plastic waste is regarded as a long- lasting and durable material. It is also
believed that Ecobricks prevent plastic waste from disrupting the ecosystem
(Low, 2018).
Ecobricks allows recycling of waste plastic. If made with hollow cells, they
can be filled with compacted dirt, increasing their potential utility for
projects lasting several years (Sobti, 2018).
