    Introduction
    A Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) is typically a society/company
    consisting of only practicing farmers who are also actual producers of a
    specified commodity/ commodities.

    Specific Commodity- Back Yard Poultry.


    Focused BYP rears- Kalanjiam Members
    Objectives
    1. To mobilise poultry rears within the kalanjiam members to form PPG/PPMG/FPOs
    2. Promoting household level consumption
    3. Improving productivity and reducing the mortality of poultry through specific
    interventions.
    4. To channel inputs on semi mechanized practices for enhanced production and
    productivity at the household level
    5. To sustainably build the capacity of FPO so that it can evolve as strong rural self –
    governance platforms
    6. To ensure better access to quality inputs and services as well as markets.

    *If in a group all members are rearing poultry, the same group will be considered as one PPG
