     Subsequently during a period of time , Offices of several
    formations were established over this piece of Land
    Steam Power Station (SPS)
    Gas Turbine Power Station (GTPS)
    Research & Test Laboratories (RTL)
    Central gas Turbine Maintenance Workshop (CGTMW)
    WAPDA Engineering Academy
    Faisalabad Electric Supply Co. (FESCO)
    Along with
    Associated Residential and Non-Residential facilities…..

    Residential Colonies
    High Schools (Boys & Girls)

    WAPDA Dispensary
    WAPDA Rest House

    However the Land has
    Still not been transferred
    to any entity and it is an Asset
    Mutated as “WAPDA – SPS”
    Presently
    The total Land is under the Administrative control
    of
    Chief Engineer (Thermal)
    NPGCL, GENCO-III
    Faisalabad.
    Where as
    over this land
    there exists the offices (With Allied structures) of
    WAPDA
    GENCO-III
    Major Portion of the Land
    NTDC area is under SPS, GTPS
    FESCO etc.
    This location and the
    Installations are
    Restricted Area
    The overall security is
    also under the Jurisdiction of
    Chief Engineer (Thermal)
    NPGCL, GENCO-III
    Faisalabad
    Entrance the premises
    is from both the main
    gates (Canal Road and
    Sheikhupura Road
    sides) is also under
    their Jurisdiction
    Now …. It has been learnt …. That …

    SPS has been De-Licensed by NEPRA Authority

    and

    GTPS will also be De-Licensed in near future


    Ownership ……

    of this Vast Piece of Land …..

    is Yet to be ….. Decided
