Introduction

 1.1 Background
 An online Bakery shop that allows users to check for various bakery products available at the online store and
purchase online. The project consists of list of bakery products displayed in various categories. The user may
browse through these items as per categories. If the user likes a product he may add it to his shopping cart.
Once user wishes to checkout, he must register on the site first. He can then login using same id password next
time. Now he may pay through a credit card or cash on delivery. Once the user makes a successful transaction,
he gets a copy of the shopping receipt on his email id. Here we use user friendly interface to make the entire
frontend. The middle tier or code behind model is designed for fast processing. And SQL serves as a backend to
store bakery products lists data. Thus, the online Bakery shopping project brings an entire bakery shop online
and makes it easy for both buyer and seller.
 Bakery products are very much essential for our daily usage. Though people likes are different, food habits are
different, life styles are different still everybody likes bakery products. Online bakery system, where people can
stay indoors and order the items they need is a very convenient and friendly process which can be fitted around
busy lines. In this fast lifestyle this project aims to make life style of people more convenient. People can
pamper state buds by ordering the items they required in few minutes of time. They can also send sweets (gift)
to relatives and friends on occasion without leaving the comfort of their sofa.
 This Online Bakery Shop project has mainly two types of users, customer and admin. The admin is responsible
to add all bakery items to the portal and user can check and order various bakery products available online.
 Objective
 The Online Bakery shop system helps to manage all online transactions in a systematic
Order, which is beneficial for both sellers and customers.
 All ordering information sales and customer’s information will be computerized and keep
the data into the database. In order to build such an application complete web support need
to be provided. A complete and efficient web application which can provide the online
shopping experience is the basic objective of the project.
 The web application can be implemented in the form of an android application with web
view. This system is convenient to computerize all the sales activities related to bakery. It
focuses on the seller and the customer to provide online sales and related activities.
 The objective of the project is to make an application in android platform to purchase
items in an existing shop. In order to build such an application complete web support need
to be provided. A complete and efficient web application which can provide the online
shopping experience is the basic objective of the project. The web application can be
implemented in the form of an android application with web view.
Purpose, Scope and Applicability
 Purpose:
 The aim of this document is to gather, analyse and provide a consistent and complete
description of the requirement for the software Online Bakery.
 The Online Bakery system helps to manage all online transaction in a systematic order,
which is beneficial for both sellers and customers. Our computer software fulfilling the
requirements of customer so that their valuable data and information can be store for longer
period with easy accessing and manipulation. This system lead to error free, secure, reliable
and fast management system.
 Scope:
 This system is convenient to computerize all the sales activities related to bakery. It focuses
on the seller (server-side) and the customer (client-side) to provide online sales and related
activities. This project also provides security with the use of Login_id and Password.so that
any unauthorized users cannot use your account. The only Authorized that will have proper
access authority can access the software.
 The bakery management system has been successfully developed and implemented to
deliver orders to customers and also it increases the customer satisfaction as required. The
developed system may be updated or modified at any point of time.
Applicability

 In this website, once user wisher to checkout he must register on the site first He can then
login using same id password next time. After which home page will come which
contains search for products available at the online store if the user likes a product click
one order and it add to cart then check the order status and click confirm order .
 Admin login to the system with user name and password after which product Entry page
will comes Admin can add new products to system and update the product prices. Admin
can view customer order details.

Requirements Specification
 Functional Requirements:
 This section provides a requirement overview of the system.
 Various functional modules that can be implemented by the system will be:
 Registration
 If customer wants to buy the product then he/she must be registered, unregistered
 User can’t go to the visit site.
 Login
 Customer logins to the system by entering valid user id and password for the orders.
 Changes to cart
 Changes to cart means the customer after login or registration can make order or cancel
 of the product from the shopping cart.
 Payment
 In this system we are dealing the mode of payment by Cash we will extend this to credit
 card, debit card etc in the future.
 Logout
 After ordering or surfing for customer has to the product logout
 Report Generation
 After ordering for the product the system will sent one copy of the bill to the customer’s
 Email-address and another one for the system data base.

 Following Non-functional Requirement will be there in the insurance to the internet

iii) Better component design to get better performance at peak time.

 User Registration:
User can register on the system and get his online account on site
 User Login:
User can login to system and check various bakery items.
 Product Categories:
The bakery products are arranged and can be viewed in categories.
 Add to cart:
Users can add new items to cart.
 Custom Cake:
User may order a custom cake as per his needed flavor, size, and shape on site.
 Credit card payment:
After total bill is calculated user can pay via credit card online. 
 Email confirmation:
On successful payment a thank you message is sent to user.
