SCOPE AND DELIMITATIONS
This research study aims to determine the
effects of Online Distance Learning (ODL) to
the mental health of the students. This
research study will mainly focus to the
effects of Online Distance Learning (ODL) to
the mental health of the participants.

1. Students - It able to reach the students concern
about new set up of learning.
2. Teachers - It will help to teachers to understand
their student’s behavior.
3. Parents - Parents of the students can learn how to
support their child amidst this trying times.

DEFINITION OF TERMS
The following terms are operationally defined by the researchers
1. Blended Learning – a style in which students learn via electronic and
online media as well as traditional face-to-face teaching.
2. Mental health – includes our emotion, psychological, and social
wellbeing. It affects how we think, feel, and act as we cope with life.
It also helps determine how we handles stress, relate to others and
make choices.
3. Online distance learning – distance learning is an educational process
where students receive instruction through online class, video
recording, video conferencing, or any other audio/visual technology
medium. It enables people to receive education without having to be
physically present in a classroom.

Descriptive research design was used in this
study which is best serve to answer the
questions and purpose of study. It also
involves gathering of data through google
form. The responses from the respondents
were used to assess the online distance
learning and its effects to the mental health
of the students.
