Function Hall

A functi on hall is a large room or area


that can be used for formal dinners or
celebrati ons. The functi on space is
perfect for corporate meeti ngs as well
as special events. A contemporary
sound system and a bar are available
in the functi on room/ hall. Many
diff erent types of events can be
accommodated in the functi on space
such as a party, banquet, wedding and
many more
GOAL

The goal of the study is to provide a functi on hall that serves


as a place to host diff erent social events or occasions. With the
right amount of spaces, traffi c fl ow will not happen because the
layout of the space is not all about furniture. Ensuring that the
recepti onist, guest , kitchen staff , hosts, and others is not crowded
in terms of movement, visibility, and accessibility

SIZE
A functi on hall should accommodate a right number of
guest. It should not be too small or too large. The given
project is 9x9 meter functi on hall which is a not too big
and can only be held for small gatherings and events. It
could only accommodate 20- 30 guest at most and the
servers depends on the size on what event will be held.

In the proposed functi on hall, the kitchen and banquet


are placed next to each other for convenience of everyone in
the hall and easier access of the spaces. Also, the kitchen
and the banquet hall are near the storage room for it to be
more accessible for the staff s and makes it more convenient
for the to do their work, this also makes it easier for them to
store the equipment that they usually use. The furniture that
would be used would be arranged in an orderly manner to
maximize the space and also for the users to move freely. By
doing these, the design of the place won't look crowded.

The functi on hall is designed to cater various events such as corporate
events, forums and talks, launchings, and special occasions like birthdays,
wedding and reunions. The whole decorati on of the hall may vary
depending on what the event requires and its factors.
