    Competence Assessment Criteria

    The Five Dimensions of Competence:

    1. Task Skills, the skill to do particular tasks.


    2. Task Management Skills, to plan & organize a number of tasks.
    3. Contingency Skills, to deal with irregularities, breakdowns and
    problems with the work.
    4. Role Environment Skills, to fit in with the workplace
    environment.
    5. Transfer Skills, to adjust and develop knowledge and skills to
    suit new situations.

    Judging Evidence of Competence

    Evidence documents to judge competence


    should meet the following criteria:

    * VALID, relates to the performance criteria.


    * AUTHENTIC, is it own work? or group effort.
    * CURRENT, for the last 3- 5 years.
    * CONSISTENT, at least 2 projects as reference.
    * SUFFICIENT, enough to confirm competence.

    Assessment for ‘Ahli M.P’ Classification

    • Written test, 100 questions of the ‘multiple choice’ type,


    using the Indonesian language.

    • The questions relate to the understanding of the PMBOK


    methodology, it’s application and real life experiences
    on the workplace.

    •Time allocated for the test is 90 minutes.

    • Passing grade is 68 correct answers.

    Assessment for the ‘M.P Madya’ and
    ‘M.P Utama’ classification.
    • Stage one: To take the written test for the ‘Ahli M.P’

    classification. Only if one passes, then one is allowed


    to proceed to Stage Two.
    • Stage Two: To participate in the assessment process
    by means of a personal interview with the appointed
    IAMPI assessor. This interview will cover one’s work

    experience and is related to the nine knowledge areas


    of the PMBOK Guide.
