    INTRODUCTION

    Typing is the basic command to run a computer and your typing speed plays vital role while
    working in computer to save time. To cope up with the fast paced technological era, the
    project titled “Typing tutor” is developed to increase the typing speed of an individual and to
    help him/her to type error free and effortlessly. The project is written in C++ programming
    language and compiled using Dev C++.
    Hardware and Software Used

    SOFTWARE USED

     DEV C++ (v.5.11)

    HARDWARE USED

     INTEL CORE i3 (Hp) Laptop

     4 GB RAM.

     HDD Capacity 1TB.


    PROGRAMMING LANGUAGE USED

    • C++

    PLATFORM USED

    • Windows Edition : Windows 10 home single language


    OBJECTIVE

    There are many technically literate individuals but their efficiency is affected just because of
    their typing speeds and typing errors.

    • This project aim towards teaching the user on how to improve their typing in a fun and
    interesting manner.

    • After using this software, the user should be able to type efficiently without looking at the
    keyboard.
    • So, this way the user is tempted to improve typing speed the next time he takes test.
    • Training mode must be provided with some random letters so as to allow the user to
    practice as much as possible.
    SYSTEM ANALYSIS

    System analysis is a phase where we analyze the existing system and identify the issues and
    concerned area where we have to make change. Here in our project “Typing Tutor” we first
    analyze the existing system and then try to fix the issues.

    EXISTING SYSTEM

    Manual work that is writing on a piece of paper has been done from the past and is believed to
    be efficient way of information which takes up a lot of hard work and time as an alternative
    and to keep up with the current level of the society written work is changed into typed records.
    In modern era, the information is kept digitally and often people have a hard time typing and
    it takes up a lot of time to maintain the record without errors.

    PROPOSED SYSTEM

    The project that we have undertaken to develop “Typing Tutor” is user-friendly. This software
    helps people in increasing their typing speed and to type faster to keep up with the
    technology. It helps user to type faster efficiently and error free. No special measures are
    taken into account to increase the typing efficiency and speed.
    FUTURE SCOPE

     Making this program with graphics for better user interaction .

     Can add suggestions for a specific language.

     Can set up different levels like easy, medium and hard and give the user a utility to choose
    from them.

     Customizability like keeping and editing the records of all the users.
