hygiene, followed by maintaining social distance
from people even your closest family members,

in recognizing different attributes. One of these
organizers utilized in the previous activity is Compare
& Contrast. This graphic organizer helps you figure out
two or more similarities or differences of ideas

 You can use graphic organizers to simplify


and organize complex text that you find
boring.
*Enhance Your Memory
 Elements of a story is framed under this
category of graphic organizers. It is called a
story map. In this organizer, elements of a story
such as characters, setting, plot, conflict,
resolution, etc. are framed to remember details
of a story easily.
*Clarify Relationship Between Concepts
 Hierarchy chart can help you remember
easily the illustration of the system, rank in
organization from highest to the lowest
position. You can use this to illustrate
superordinate and subordinate class of the
topic and their relationship.
*Clarify Relationship Between Concepts
 To effectively use this chart to understand concept,
follow these steps:
1. Identify the significant aspect of the topic and write it
in the box at the top of the organizer.
2. List down elements that you find significant from the
first aspect you identified.
3. Cluster the elements into different levels of rank.
 You can use the triangle organizer or the pyramid-
shaped chart to list down your priorities from the
most important to the least like spirituality, family
relationships, education, friends, etc.
*Understand Difficult Words

 Vocabulary map can help you learn unfamiliar


or difficult words and synonyms and antonyms.

 Here are tips to follow through:


Step 1: Put the word/s or concept in the center of
the organizer.
Step 2: Identify the multiple meanings and make
connections.

Step 3: Use the word in a sentence. Clues can also


be found within the sentence.
Step 4: Look for various synonyms and antonyms
of the word/s.
Step 5: Draw a picture after identifying the
meaning to visualize the idea
*Part to Whole Understanding of Text

 Other graphic organizers like pie graph/chart, bar,


and tables are used to interpret data in details,
numbers, figures, etc. and their relationship. The pie
graph is a whole unit divided with slices that
represent segments or fraction of a whole.

 You can use the pie chart to allocate your personal


budget. Here are some steps:
 Step 1: Identify your subject or topic.
 Step 2: Calculate the percentage of the parts to the
whole.
 Step 3: Draw slices relative to the actual calculation of
parts.
*Elicit Bigger Picture and Encourage Creativity

 Pictures are static visual illustrations that perform


effective and substantial cues to amplify your
comprehension. Titles and italicized characters are
also known for their significance in understanding
text.
